Fortune Lounge launches multi-player tournaments

12 March 2007

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Proving that online gaming can be just as dynamic as land-based gaming, the Fortune Lounge group of online casinos and poker rooms has launched a beta test of live Multi-Player Tournaments, a product that's sure to change the climate of e-gaming.

Not to be confused with the regular lucky draws, these are live casino Slot tournaments in which players get to compete with each other in real time, and can view their position on live leader boards. For the beta testing phase, these tournaments are offered at Royal Vegas Casino and on two of the all-time most popular slot games: Thunderstruck and Tomb Raider.

The leader board is by far the winning element of this new product. Each player is asked to register a unique alias which appears on the leader board. There are prizes to be won for those lucky players who are placed in top positions on the leader board.

Fortune Lounge has published a Tournament Schedule so that players know when tournaments are kicking off. However, one of the elements that makes this product so user-friendly is that there is no waiting around for a tournament to begin. Once registering for a tournament, you can continue playing as per usual and will be notified when the tournament is about to begin.

For the player who prefers something a little more instant and spontaneous, there are fast-paced Sit 'n Go's. Simply register for a Sit 'n Go and as soon as the required number of players have registered (usually five), the tournament begins.

This innovative product adds a new dimension to online gaming and is sure to become a fast favorite with those players looking for a more interactive experience. The full functionality for the Multi-Player tournament software can be found in the Royal Vegas Online Casino lobby.
