Hurricane Earl knocks out service for Intertops

30 August 2010

A Category 3 hurricane in the Caribbean knocked out services for major online casino and sportsbook Intertops on Monday.

Hurricane Earl caused major power outages in the island of Antigua, where Intertops is based. As of Monday morning, the Intertops.com Web site and all of its services were down.

The company released a statement on Monday that said it was working to restore services to its customers, and would send out a notification via e-mail as soon as it was back online. Customers were notified later Monday afternoon that the Web site was back up.
