Stream Apocalypse Unite tournament from PlayAttack

24 April 2020

(PRESS RELEASE) -- PlayAttack Affiliates is about to launch its biggest event of the year, the Stream Apocalypse Unite Tournament.

Stream Apocalypse is part of a project ran by the PlayAttack Affiliate Program, specifically for online casino streamers. The tournament is being held yearly and features a prize fund.

The big novelty this time around is that the tournament will be played in teams. Each streamer, who is also a PlayAttack’s affiliate, can assemble a team to compete against other streamers and their teams. There are no restrictions on the number of people within each team.

The action starts on Friday, 1 May, and will run in three stages.

- Stage 1 will run from 1-12 May at Mr Bit and APlay Casino

- Stage 2 will run from 15-25 May at Drift Casino and Columbus Casino

- Stage 3 will run from 30 May to 11 June at Frank Casino and SlotV

The prize fund for each Stream Apocalypse stage is $50.000, bringing the total prize fund for the tournament to $150.000. The goal is to get more win multipliers than anyone else. Inside each team, the top 10 players will get a share of the prize.

Mark Elvyn, Affiliate Manager at PlayAttack who has been working closely with streamers, said: “We are extremely proud to be the first affiliate program in the world to launch such a format, where both affiliates and players can get involved, and we can’t wait to show it to the gambling world. Stream Apocalypse is a great chance to test yourself as a casino streamer or discover how the streaming industry works if you are a newbie”

For now, the tournament is only available for CIS streamers. However, Mark disclosed that PlayAttack will be working on making the tournament available for the MGA-licensed jurisdictions in the near future, to give all streamers from around the world a chance to battle it out during the next Stream Apocalypse.

To be eligible for the tournament, streamers must sign up at the Stream Apocalypse website, set up an account with PlayAttack, and link the two accounts. They can then stream from Twitch or YouTube, depending on where their preference lies.
