We have another calendrical symmetry and I see many companies using number 9 for their promotions. This is quite the same thing when Beijing Olympics played on the 08/08/08 symmetry.

While the number 9 might be considered lucky for most Chinese, some cultures find the number on the contrary. From what I read, the Japanese are staying away the number 9 as much as possible ---except maybe for the Baccarat tables- .
