2012 outlook for online gambling in the u.s. Is bright

"I do believe in 2012 there will be legal online poker in at least two or three states," says industry exec

Richard Bronson, the former Wynn Resorts exec who now heads turnkey online gambling provider US Digital Gaming, says the prospects for legalised online poker in the United States next year are good.

Speaking to the publication Capital New York, Bronson confirmed his company has invested $75 000 over the past year with lobbyist Patricia Lynch Associates.

Bronson said from his Beverley Hills office that he doubted federal legalisation would be achieved, & that his company's approach over the past three years has been to brief & encourage lawmakers in individual states to pursue intrastate online poker legalisation.

Bronson told Capital New York that recent moves by Gov. Andrew Cuomo to introduce [land] table gambling to the state in order to generate tax revenues (see previous report) was a positive for online gambling initiatives.

Unfortunately online poker in 2-3 states doesn't make up for online casinos and poker in the other 48 states...

It is a start in that direction though.

I think everyone in Florida should stop shopping at Walmart, I mean since it's not a Florida company I think we should only shop at stores that are headquartered here.

For that matter, maybe almost all the fast food restaurants should close and move out of the state....

Why should someone in Florida want to buy anything where the money spent goes to a different state?

Banks, insurance companies, all retailers.....if your corporate headquarters isn't here....get out!
