Default 32Red Affiliate Program is truly Awesome - So why post that info here?

Yeah, this is the groan and growl forum. He copied me, she copied me, they copied me, whatever.

BUT - Sometimes people outside of the circle step in and show they are special. If you are NOT a 32Red affiliate, would I be out of line in recommending that you sign up post haste? What a special program......

I received this mail regarding content on our website, www.playonlinebingogames.co.uk which site is run by my sister (it mainly has her affiliate tags) and has content which, to the best of my knowledge, she researched and wrote.

    Your content has been copied...
    Hi there,

Just a quick email to say we received an application to the 32Red Affiliate
program today from a website (http://casinorecommender.com/) that has lifted
    significant amounts of your content
    (http://casinorecommender.com/Bingo.html).

We believe in protecting the originality of content and have rejected this
affiliates‚EUR(tm) application. We thought we should contact you so you
could take further action should you wish.

If you need anything else then please let me know.

    Kind Regards,

    Aaron O'Sullivan
    Affiliate Dept
    32Red Plc
    a: Suites 9/11 Eurotowers 2, Gibraltar
    t: xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
    w: www.32Red.com
I removed the phone number to keep info clean in case they didn't want that published.

Seriously, I payout approximately $180 000 per annum in salaries so that my staff can write me content, update my content, and maintain my sites. And then along comes a spider and sat down beside my code and ate it all up.

    Not cool........
    Have a wonderful day

Wow is it nice to read something like this Bigb!

This is certainly a true partnership and kudos to 32Red. Awesome that they rejected this theif!! The best way to fight this is to get them where it hurts. In the wallet! If all the programs would take this initiative we might even make a dent against theft and change the world!

I am already an affiliate but don't do to well. Partly because I havn't put in enough effort. I'll be kicking them up to see if I can change that.

    This is awesome stuff.

I recently decided with RYPC my partner to promote 32 Red on all our websites going forward.

This puts the icing on the cake. Much respect to 32 RED for being proactive in the affiliate community to protect our interests.

Well done Aron.. thanks for doing this for affiliates.

Just removing the content is not enough in my opinion.

If the justice system (flawed that it is) allowed cat burglars to just return the items stolen when they are caught (at a specific house only) with no further repercussions, do you think that cat burglar would continue their wave of theft?

Do you think they would return the items from previous thefts? Why should they, they were only caught at todays theft, not the ones they have gotten away with up until that point.

I agree - but what would you suggest?

    Make him/her pay a fine?

I think the way 32Red handled this was perfect - did not even allow them to join their program and immediately notified all affected webmasters of the situation.

Obviously, not paying the offending webmaster is the solution - this forces their hand and I am sure that if ALL programs were like 32Red and a number of others, eg. Casinorewards, Brightshare - this problem would be clamped down on. Unfortunately, not all programs have these standards..

In this case, the webmaster was stopped before he could get going and removed the content.

We can take note of those that help us in these issues and give them more exposure - that way you know you are dealing with good people and true partners.

A small step - but at least a step.

Unhappy Important info about my site ( casinorecommender.com )

    Dear Valued Forum members;

I am the owner of casinorecommender.com site and i've read all of the posts and feel very sorry from everyone for the nonethical and illegal behaviour that was done by our former webmaster (we fired him out as soon as we learned the unwanted situation!).

First of all please believe in me that i do not know any of the copied content. Because all of the design and content work was done by him. And today each and every review has been deleted from the site in order to be re-written by our team.

Thanks a lot for Aaron from 32Red.com for giving us feedback on this situation. Hope we didn't give harm to anybody. I don't think so because we take the immediate action and google has not crawled our site yet. So duplicate contents didn't give harm to anybody (i think and hope so).

Please keep in mind that from this day till the end each and every content of the site will be unique. We share the same ethical values as all of you do.

Again many many thanks for primarily Aaron and the other people who warned us to remove the content.

    Take care,
    Huseyin

Agreed peralis, and since the post above appeared, it's obvious that this was the best form of action in this particular case.

casinorecommender, thank you for stopping in to both defend your position and give us a breakdown of what transpired, it shows integrity....

I do hope that if the developer in question worked on many of your sites that you realize that you may have to dig through those to be sure this was not something that had been going on for a long time.

Welcome to the GPWA, maybe being here now will work out in your favor in the end....

    Hi BigB (all),

I can't speak highly enough of not only the 32red affiliate program but 32red casino.

Most weeks I chat with Pat Harrison their (32red casino) operations manager. To be frank the guy's a true gentleman. So too is Ed Ware their CEO. In fact the entire operation at 32red Plc is the best you'd find online.

Support staff actually are sincerely friendly, which is going to always go a long way in maintaining happy players.

I'll raise my hand too and say... If your not promoting this casino and their sister site Dash then you should be.

Unlike most casinos that just approve your sign-up instantly, I could never work our why it took days to be approved. Now I know why

With BigB's post its become clear that the 32Red Affiliate program uses Copyscape or similar to veto all applications.

With stellar performances like we've be shown in this thread, it should leave no doubt to why 32Red has won the best online casino award each year at CasinoMeister since 2002.

And buck loads of Kudos from their players & affiliates too!

    Cheers

    Dave
