Pretty disgusting to see. Looks like it is time to take them down, not that they were performing since the split from USA.

Sorry for not posting on this sooner but I was just made aware of this thread now.
When I first read this I was actually quite angry and assumed that GCG was making up completely unfounded rumors about Cocoa for some reason. We (Jet Set Marketing) have never and will never sell add space on any of our casino brands. I couldn't figure out where this idea would have come from. I personally opened the casino in every web browser imaginable trying to find something that might look like footer links and had members of my team do the same. It wasn't until I spoke to my associate that we came up with the likely explanation.
About a month or so ago an old partner of ours asked if we'd place a small, inconspicuous link for his new affiliate network site in the footer of our brands (not paid, just as a favor). We chose not to, but during the decision process we had one of our designers throw up a link to one of his own, unused sites to see what the link would look like there. This link was literally up for a few days at most ( I thought it was up for less than a day but I asked the designer and he confirmed that he forgot to remove it that same day). This is the only expanation I can think of as to what GCG saw and assumed was Cocoa selling ad space.
In any case, it was a legitimate assumption if this was the case but all I ask is this, in the future please don't be so quick to jump to conclusions. Our brands have been around since the birth of Rival software (love it or hate it) and we've continued to remain strong despite the many setbacks we have faced and overcome. While other casinos, Rival or otherwise, have come and gone, we're still growing and still providing top level service to our customers. Even with the exit from the US market (which, I'll be the first to admit, was a significant bump in the road) we did not miss a beat, we have refocused, made some significant changes to further accommodate our non-English speaking players and non US traffic and we definitely have never come close go "going sour". In fact, now that we are out of the US and no longer have to worry about the processing issues associated with that market, as well as the fact that we are now no longer White Labels, things have never been better for the company and the brands.
If anyone would like to discuss this further you can contact me at any time at shaun (at) jetsetaffiliates (dot) com or add me to skype: jetsetshaun.
Thanks!
Shaun
How do you think a link would look like on the frontpage? A link is a link and players can go to that designers site.during the decision process we had one of our designers throw up a link to one of his own, unused sites to see what the link would look like there. This link was literally up for a few days at most ( I thought it was up for less than a day but I asked the designer and he confirmed that he forgot to remove it that same day). This is the only expanation I can think of as to what GCG saw and assumed was Cocoa selling ad space.
It was there for a few days - it was not a quick paste and remove for sure - but it should not have been there in the first place.
If I see something wrong I will report it.In any case, it was a legitimate assumption if this was the case but all I ask is this, in the future please don't be so quick to jump to conclusions
A site doing such things just does not add more trust, especially after having to deal with the 400aff. deal with redreturns which you HAD NOT informed affiliates beforehand.
You and Redreturns monitized that Canadian traffic from us for free.
Don't you think we get a little bit pissed about what YOU are doing ?
After more than 2 months you feel it is about time to reply about that issue, do you think for 1 minute I got a quick reply from you? This is an issue that I should have replied to earlier. I apologize for this.

Not made up we saw it as well.
Why is it Affiliate Managers have to try an up sell their brand even when the thread is not related to that. The issue is a link. You answered what the problem was. You don't need to go into detail of how well or not your business is.![]()
Jamie and CGC,
Again, I understand your point of view, we have made mistakes in the past no doubt, and we've tried to rectify them as best as we can in every circumstance.
My question though is this, why do I have to hear about this on a forum as opposed to someone (such as yourself) just emailing me or someone from our team with the question first. If you want to have a solid and open relationship with affiliate programs (which I believe is important) then it goes both ways. When it comes to the deal with Red Returns, yes, absolutely we should have let our affiliates know (I have addressed this issue in another thread), it was nothing underhanded or intentionally shady but I will be the first to admit that we made a mistake here. On that note though, shouldn't a concerned affiliate that sees something fishy attempt to contact the affiliate program first before making assumptions?
Here's what it comes down to. If you want an open line of communication between affiliate programs and brands, it has to go both ways. As I've said, we've made mistakes, yes, but we've always tried to make them right and I'm always here to talk to about any concerns. On the flip side, all that I ask is that if you have a problem with something we're doing or a question, come to me first. I think that's fair.
Jason
Bumping an old thread, I know. I can still see footer links in the source code, they're invisible to the naked eye but these are invisible text links, linking out to slotorama.com, nodepositcodes.us and slottown.com. I have no idea if these are all affiliate sites but the second one certainly appears to be, linking out to other Rival brands.
