Cars, TV and furniture don't count guys n gals.
You'd better enjoy them because they're value reducing toys that don't hold their value long enough to count as retirement grade assets.
A standard asset count might be :
House(s) (less mortgage(s)), + cash, stocks, savings and pensions.
