Affiliate Programs and US affiliates?
What's everyones experience with affiliate programs and US affiliates? A few years back, I was dropped by most of the aff programs I was in and Neteller was frozen, etc.
Do most aff programs take US affiliates and how about payments?
Best and most reputable programs for US affiliates?

Hi Mike, things have changed a bit since then. Most affiliate programs work with affiliates who are based in the United States. This is true even of most programs who do not accept players from the U.S. -- they're generally quite happy to work with affiliates regardless of location.
I don't have an easy list of affiliate programs that work with U.S.-based affiliates but in general those types of restrictions only apply to players rather than affiliates. Still, since a lot of U.S. affiliates find a major portion of their traffic also comes from U.S. players I wanted to point out which GPWA sponsor programs have at least one brand that accepts US players. Here are the lists:
Platinum affiliate programs with brands accepting US players:
BrightShare Network
CashRake
Commission Account
CWC Affiliates
EarnReal
Fortune Affiliates
Intertops Affiliate Program
Main Street Affiliates
PDC Affiliates
ReferBack
Rome Partners
Gold affiliate programs with brands accepting US players:
BetUS.com
PlayShare / G3 Partner
Silver affiliate programs with brands accepting US players:
Cake Poker Affiliates
Chipleader Affiliates
GA Partners
Income Access
Rewards Affiliates
Sloto' Cash Affiliates
Bronze affiliate programs with brands accepting US players:
400 Affiliates
CommissionKing
Pantasia Affiliates
Simon Says Affiliates
Superior Share
Vegas Affiliates
Wager Junction
You can find similar info about sponsor programs brands using the affiliate program gaming site search tool. In addition to sorting by countries where players are accepted, you can also specify game type (i.e. casino, poker, sportsbetting, bingo, skill games, etc.), software vendor, languages the games are offered in, languages the affiliate program staff members speak (including proficiency level), and other criteria.
Hope this helps.

As stated above, most (if not all) affiliate programs accept US Affiliates, but they dont all accept US players, so if you have a website that targets both Canadian and US traffic and European traffic, then gnuf.biz would have you as an affiliate but would only be able to accept the Canadian and European players.
So I think that many affiliates stopped working with many brands as well, since their target audience was US, and their is no point delivering traffic to a site that dont accept those players.
Cheers
Henrik

I'm based in the US. 75% of my traffic comes from the US. Of the 100+ affiliate programs of which I am a member, my best-converting affiliate programs are (in no particular order):
Fortune Affiliates
Playshare
RummyAffiliates
Commission Account
Brightshare
Full Tilt Poker
MainStreet
Pokerstars
ReferBack
StarPartner
Best Casino Partner
Bingo Card
DBPN
Gambling Wages
Pitbull Poker
RewardsAffiliates
400 Affiliates
Sloto'Cash
Vegas Affiliates
The majority of these pay via UseMyWallet/QuickTender, with checks and Affiliate Speedpay both a distant second in terms of payment methods.

There was this big thread that affiliate speed pay was the best payment solution that many affiliates preferred, how come you don't think so?
We are planning on implementing a few more payments methods and it is always good to hear why a certain payment solution is better then another from an affiliate point of view.
Cheers

All of my offered sites are US Player and US affiliate friendly, As we move forward into private processing we are looking into speed pay as a way to pay the affiliates, As an affiliate I have a Speedpay account and a sweet little card from another program that only offers non US sites, I find it to be the best way to be paid. Being able to visit an ATM or use to to make purchases is very attractive to me.

Red Returns also take US players and affiliates through promoting Red Flush Casino. Oh and we are a Plat'num sponsor
I think a lot of programs soiled themselves a couple of years back and binned not only players but affiliates as well. I think this was more of a knee jerk reaction and was done to try cover themselves as the whole facts were not fully known at that time.
