First, you can ask as many questions as you want, we have nothing to hide.
2nd, Israel is a bonus, weather in awesome at these dates, so if you are going to be here you should bring your swimming suit....and also find time as there is much to see like the dead sea (

to your other questions:
Would you say that you are in completion with the likes of AAC or CAC??? First let me say that I have a personal relationship with Alex and Marc, both on the personal level and the business level.
Second, Affilicon is a general purpose affiliate marketing conference, we believe that the days of a vertical affiliate are gone....most affiliates reducing their risks by doing other things, thus you can find many affiliates where we go that can work with you. We are more of a local show while CAC and AAC are more like bringing affiliates from everywhere (Amsterdam is a location where everyone wants to come). We are getting 25% of our attendees from the international visitors but this is not our focus. This is a well known strategy and both our marketing partners (both AAC and CAC are our marketing partners). So I wouldn’t call them competitors but partners.
How do you get the affiliates to attend?
lol, you want me to post my secrets?!?! no way

but I can tell you that it involves hard work, no more the easy days to anyone, I am sure it is not easy to you as well to find them. but it is all about delivering quality content, people, networking, exhibition and some fun, sure.
How much do you charge me to attend?
Vendors/Affiliate Programs $450 (prices going up on 14th)
Do you charge affiliates?
prices started at $165 and now it is $200 (prices going up on 14th). To assist you in the next question, why do we charge affiliates (hope I guessed right) then the answer is:
1) We are not CAP/AAC we are more like Affiliate Summit (I paid there in January in Las Vegas $1,000 for a pass plus $3,000 flights, hotel, food, taxi.... as an Affiliate!!!). we are coming to the local people and $200 is a very low ticket for a pass
2) We provide 2 full days of 4 professional educational tracks, breakfast, lunch and an official party (not sponsored, fully paid by us).
3) having a paid event helps in: A) screen the general public attendees who just come for a free lunch B) qualifies the attendees C) reduces the No-Show % to a lower number (if someone paid, he would probably come)
4) since we are not AAC/CAC we dont have vendors to have a 20x60 booths that we get paid $20-40K and more thus cost is also being covered by attendees, should be fair to both sides.
finally, we believe at the end of the day that we offer value for money.
Do you allow operators to have stands??
Sure, we still have 35%-45% of our 55 booths to be gambling. We have already more than a few exhibiting and many attending.
hope the above answers your questions and more (if you have more, I am around, almost 24/7

)
Enjoy the weekend
