I removed my comments in the last 2 posts : "I hope my account has not been compromised for starting this as it looks grim now." / "I am not doing well with them anymore" as this is not fair from my side and implying the impression that RA is shaving my account.

Renee had a look at my account and concluded a few "heavy-weight" players that contributed to my earnings have not played that much last month but are still active under my account which caused a drop but is still on avarage compared previous months.

I felt giving credit where credit is due is in place here.

    Rewardsaffiliates Cross Promotion Issue

I started this thread http://www.gpwa.org/forum/all-22-cas...te-196308.html because traffic sent to their casinos is used by RA to cross promote referred players to their other casinos by emails (newsletters + new bonus mailers with untagged links to CR casinos) without crediting the affiliates and having untagged links on all their casino sites that point to their centralized site casinorewards.com where also players have to claim their comp. points.

I feel the former thread lost its spoon effect so I opened a new one in order to get more support for hopefully an acceptable solution.

There is no need to start another thread. The original thread is still very much in play, breaking up the conversation is not productive. I added your post here.

We do have some feedback from Rewards that will be posted shortly.

What is the timeframe for this "RA feedback" you announced, will it be any different than the previous one?

I am losing momentum and interest here.

There is feedback in the private forums and a plan on the part of Rewards Affiliates to make some improvements based on considering the issues affiliates have raised. Not everything that has been asked for by any means, but some definite improvements from an affiliate perspective. As before, I encourage you to request private membership (it is free) so that you may participate in and be a part of the discussions.

This is an industry / affiliate wide issue - not just a GPWA private member one as such it would be nice to see this issue addressed in a public arena.

Okay, but how do you know if issues are inconclusive if you do not have access to the private forum? Sign up or not it's your baby, we're certainly not going to beg you to join.

Rewards Affiliates has been considering how to address the situation in a way that would work for everybody for some time now.

They view that the primary issue is the logos on the bottom of the newsletter coupled with the fact that the current casino promotions are featured under each logo.

Based on affiliate concerns Rewards Affiliates has decided they would change the newsletters to remove the bonuses under the logos and replace them with the word “Reinstall”. With the bonuses gone they feel there would be nothing to entice the player to click the logo unless they are reinstalling.

Rewards Affiliates looked at multiple solutions to get this situation to a better place. They know this solution is not perfect, but with all of the complexities involved, they felt something that they will be able to implement quickly and in a straight forward fashion to help makes the most sense.

I do feel that it is a substantial improvement over the current situation where there is active promotion of deals at other sites.

Rewards Affiliates has implemented the newsletter change:

Anthony you know this solution is not really a sacriffice for CR, their businessplan is quite clear to me : same concept with more casinos = more exposure and conversions for CR owners if not referred by the affiliates.

With 30 and more casinos to join the chance a valued player - referred by an affiliate -will end up at a different CR casino is very high - and that is when 100% profits are earned as no affiliate commissions have to be deducted. Money to reinvest again to buy more MG casinos.

if you are the owners......I must say you have found the best and most brilliant idea.....let affiliates promote your big money concept at very low costs .....you earn millions and they are happy too with a wagershare % for just 1 casino ......amazing !

Rewards is building something of a monopoly. This severely compromises affiliates. If we were smart and collectively thought 5 years down the road rather than 5 minutes, we affiliates would promote the smaller programs and avoid the larger ones, simply to keep the balance of power balanced. It's not rocket science, folks.

Janet the problem with promoting the smaller ones is they hit one bump financially they will sell out to rewards.

Inhouse cross marketing by C-Rewards ?

Every day mailers are sent out to players referred by affiliates but do not contain the affiliate tag / no credit to affiliates.

We are asked to send more traffic to bring them new players......who end up with Rewards Affiliates as an exlusive owner becasue of these spammy inhouse email campaigns ??

Do you think if a player opens multiple accounts the rentention team will more likely look after an account first referred by the affiliate - or - snatched from your players base where there is no commission to pay for them ??

    Go figure !!

Looking at these two tags they are both tagged to an external marketing company who doesn't have backend access to our data and therefore cannot tag the mailers to yourself. These marketing companies use their own data, not ours, so they would have picked your email address up from somewhere.
    Hope that makes sense.

I don't think domain ownership necessarily says anything about who produced and sent the e-mail messages. It is very easy to let a third party company use a domain you own to send e-mail messages out as part of a service they provide on your behalf.
Use of a third-party does mean it can take more time to track things down, understand what happened, and set them right if need be.

Same IP's who cares if it is their brother or sister who is doing that : they are busy earning money right ?

Renee, Anthony or I can fill you in on some of the background details about what happened with a cross-marketing issue with another program. In the case I have in mind, where there was a real issue, the program involved was able to set things right by actually going back and tracking down acquisitions that had not been properly credited.

Please respond why you claim it are third parties that issue those mailers but have no access to your backend.

But all domains above are on the same IP so who is doing it then?
