    Anyone using SideWiki

It has been a few months since sidewiki was launched. I am wondering how many people use sidewiki or even read the comments on sidewiki.

Is it just another time wasting activity on the web

If you happen to remember how you turned it off, please let me know. I find it so annoying...

Never actually used it, but it pops the screen to the side every time it loads the smallest thing on the page.. ARGH!

I'm not 100% positive but I disabled the google tool bar on my FF browser and the side wiki disappeared at the same time. May be a coincidence but worth trying.

I believe it is in the options of the toolbar itself....

I personally do NOT like the idea of sidewiki at all.

Press the spanner thing, go to tools and uncheck the savoury delight.

    OK,

When using sidewiki, you go to a website and open the sidewiki to see what others have said about the site.

    Wanna hurt the competition?

Not that I use it myself but when I have checked it out I have not found a negative comment.

To get rid of side wiki use chrome

The use of chrome does NOT remove the problem.

Since chrome has such a small marketshare, using chrome only means YOU won't see it, and if there are any negative comments, using chrome will not remove it.

Besides, if Chrome suddenly gained a lot of marketshare, and if Google really thought sidewiki was a valuable resource (whether the webmaster community wanted it or not) Google would just add it to Chrome.
