I am talking about the income that is due to me from players still playing there. I haven't been paid for them since the aff program closed.
I assume you are talking about the payments that were due on the date of closure. I am talking about the money still generated because of my efforts - and I deserve to be paid for that.
Back in the day, when something like this happened the casino would at least pay a nominal sum per player as severance. And that is how it is done in the brick and mortar world - it's why we have bankruptcy.

To clarify this is the issue all affiliates have with Grand Prive. Lloyd, did you not read any of the links from:I assume you are talking about the payments that were due on the date of closure. I am talking about the money still generated because of my efforts - and I deserve to be paid for that.

Lloyd,
I think there is possibly some confusion about what "settled" means. If someone had brought a player to Grand Prive based on commissions for the life of the player, then contract law would generally require that commissions be paid for the life of the player.
I'm guessing that by "settled" it is meant that the amounts due as of the date of the termination of the affiliate program were paid, and as far as I know that could very well be completely accurate except for a few disputed accounts as you suggest is the case.
However, a settlement would mean affiliates were also paid for future earnings from those players subsequent to the date the affiliate program ceased accepting new referrals. Insofar as I understand, that is definitely not the case, so the view of affiliates is that Grand Prive has broken their promise to them. There are players still playing referred by webmasters under a promise of lifetime earnings, but the lifetime earnings are not being paid.

Other Microgaming affiliate programs should be FURIOUS with Microgaming.
Why? Because affiliates (including myself) don't trust Microgaming affiliate programs as much as they used to. This ultimately means less traffic (and money) for Microgaming affiliate programs, and more traffic to competitors.
My opinion is that Microgaming shouldn't have allowed Grand Prive / Villa Fortuna to continue operating after they stole the players and the associated "lifetime" commissions from their affiliates.
Microgaming should have told Grand Prive: Honor your commitments or lose your license.
That would have been the ethical, right thing to do. That is what I expected from what I considered to be the most reputable gaming software company.
And if, for whatever reason, Microgaming didn't want to terminate the license, then Microgaming should have at least publicly condemned Grand Prive's actions.
They didn't even do that.

Further info for your comments:
I was told that most affiliates were also paid an agreed amount for future earnings from those players subsequent to the date the affiliate program ceased accepting new referrals.
This needs to be considered as well.

That most certainly didn't happen with me.

Lloyd, does not the fact that everyone and there dog with any ethics is after grand prive, the fact that you are under seige here now for your comments give you a hint?
Or is it that GP are good people have satisfied all and sundry and as such deserve support and not to be made a mockery of by thousands of affiliates that are also supported in the cause by many aff managers too!

If this is true, which I think is not, why haven't all who supported Grand Prive been paid? ( well maybe one lucky person)
Closing the affiliate program down does not equate to existing referrals being void. Grand Prive clearly stated affiliate commission for the lifetime of players.
Grand Prive instead of honoring their agreement gave us all the finger, took our referrals, future earnings and ran to the nearest Yacht.
And for me this is theft and puts a huge stain on MG and Ecogra.
These a peoples lively hoods were dealing with this is no game. We all have to eat! Why should Grand Prive take the bread from my son's mouth.

Thats NEWS to me as well!
Grand Prive made up 25% or more of my monthly income and I could pay my entire monthly debt with JUST that account and I've was not offered a 'settlement' after working very hard for YEARS only to have all of these players stolen from me. Here is a perfect example of the work I did for them. Grand Prive' Group BLACKLISTED (Do NOT play here)
Your 'source' is NOT telling the truth as well as NOT very informed and I'm confused as to your position. I'm starting to think that someone hacked your account and is impersonating you Lloyd because I'm shocked by your replies, but it has been a HUGE wake up call for me so thanks!![]()

If affiliates are now going to start implicating MG regarding GP then we need to be sure that the facts are straight and on the table.
I would like to see actual hard facts in addition to the important overall comments.
Here Lloyd, hope this helps get you up to speed:

You should look into mine too - I think they likely compensated those who showed promise in the European market in the attempt to pull them into Villa Fortuna.
The ones who built up player bases for them prior to the exit from the US are the ones who likely got screwed.
I had not sent players at the time they closed because I had an issue wth google and most all my players were US at that time. I had a number of solid, loyal players there at the time though, good depositors with way above average value.
My google situation has changed since, but I am drawn to some of the other europe facing softwares now. Before the GP mess I would have gone micro full speed ahead.

If I bought a McDonalds franchise and started to make burgers my way, and start to short people the weight of the burger, less fries per serving etc.n and have over all unhappy mad clients, I think McDonalds would pull my franchise..
In the Online casino world, all the software providers seem to look at it as they are software providers, and not a brand. Im my opinion, though I see both points of view, I think is a mistake.
