Default APCW Year End Poll 2008

What were the most importnat events that effected our industry this year?

You can vote for one of them, all of them, or something in beteween. You can also suggest a story you think we overlooked.

Thanks...

I said the Kentucky Domain Case . I was just very surprised at how that went.
I really want to believe that Obama being elected will make the big difference in the industry, but unless folk keep sending his administration letters that show how much we are upset about the UIGEA, nothing will happen I'm afraid. There is just too much that comes first if you get my drift. Example being the wars, economy, the infrastructure and unemployment.

Perhaps related to the Kentucky case but I would have thought Microgaming pulling out of the US would have been on the list.

That's actually a pretty good one... MicroGaming pulling out. Anyone who wants to vote for that one too speak up.

Also, if you voted for one (but now realize you could have voted for more) say so in the forum and I'll keep a total.

Thanks!

Going with the crowd it looks, I think the KY case is the most important issue in 2008. I hope next year JT post a poll that includes the repeal of the UIGEA. (I can dream can't I)
