    Quality will always trump quantity,

I have one site that earns five times more than another of my sites and yet gets approx 1% of the traffic.

That does not mean that the bigger site does not convert well, it does, what it does mean is that the far smaller site gets far better rewards because the traffic is far better, let me explain a little better.

If you have a website that is 100% gambling related, the domain is gambling related and all content and sources are gambling related with 10000 a month traffic then you can be fairly sure that a huge number of that 10000 are bona fide gamblers who have gone to that site for a specific reason and therefore more likely to be interested in gambling links and adverts.

If you have another site that gets 1 million a month and let say it is a New York Yankees fans site then the chances are that you are getting Yankee fans and not gamblers and even if more than 1% of that 1 million are bona fide gamblers, the chances are they are far more interested in Yankee news than any gambling or betting news etc.

Me personally, when I bet, if i want info on a team I will not go to the teams fans sites, for starters they are always biased and not experts in their field when it comes to gambling advice, they may have some injury news that is worthwhile but nothing that cannot be found on a professionally put together gambling site.

When I want info for gambling I may visit the racingpost or even TheGoonners website and of course I visit my own sites to see what has been written, because I want info relevant to gambling, seriously not interested in Wayne Rooneys hair or who Jeter is dating this week.

Traffic is very very easy to come by, I can stick a site up today and within one month be on 300k visitors a month, from a google adsense point of view that is ok but from an affiliates point of view it is not because the traffic for the most part will be non gambling.

Gambling traffic is the holy grail in this industry, get 100k genuine gambling traffic a month and you will pay off your mortgage, get 2-3 million traffic to a sports fans site and you will be comfortable for sure but you will only be able to afford a second hand Ford and not the new Aston Martin.

    Quality rules quantity.

I'm just echoing what others have said here, but it all depends on the motivation of the traffic you're getting.
I would prefer to have 5 visits for a targeted keyword like 'compare free bets' than 500 for a general keyword like 'top run scorer england v india'.
I'm at #1 for the second one, huge traffic, but it isn't making me any money

How many registrations do you typically get before one of them actually deposits? I had a few registrations that led to nothing!

That also depends on the traffic and where its coming from. I recently did some stuff with UK visitors and then one day all of a sudden I am getting a 60% deposit ration to registration.

In my case i had 100 clicks - 60 registrations and 40 deposits.

I have had sites in the past where i got 10K visits a month and not one deposit.. LOL

Now if i get 100 visits i am almost for sure going to get at least 10 deposits

We average about 1100 a month, conversions vary massively from month to month

You don't need much traffic if its targeted and relevant. One of my friends makes between 5-10k per month from about 120 visitors a day. Some of my best earning months have been from one big player, so quality always beats quantity

Well, our stats currently are quite inaccurate IMO. As a lot of it is direct traffic, most of which is probably me and my team when we've been making changes and what not.

This can't be measured in visitors, for example when you have a bit of luck you can start earn some money with just a few visitors a day.

The purpose of content on a website (casino/gambling related or not) is more likely than not is to serve as spider's food and not so much for human consumption.

A site with a huge amount of indexed pages will be higher up in the SERP ranking as compare with a "mini site".

I totally agree. A large site with a lot of content is less likely to be a spam site. Also, content sites generally add value to the Internet (if the content is fairly unique).
