Which banner sizes do you use?

We are currently designing some new banners. I wanted to see what you guys felt are the banner sizes you use most.

• 120 x 600
• 120 x 240
• 468 x 60
• 728 x 90
• 300 x 250
• 125 x 125
• Other

234x60
250x250
120x60 - logo
...depending where I'm putting them.

I generally use 125x125, 468x60 and to a lesser extent 120x60 and 120x240 .

I almost always find myself using 250x250 because they look really nice in blog posts and news stories I put up every day.

I also like larger ones occasionally and 468x100 look great because they're unusual.

I use 120x60, 120(5)x120(5) and 468x60 only.

However, the best conversion tool are TEXT links; banners CTR and text CTR are something like 20% against 80%.

Don't forget about 120x60's.

I also often make custom sized skyscrappers ranging from 120x300, 120x400 or similar.

Sometimes during the customization process I end up making odd sizes like 120x460 because the artwork I am using will not fit properly in a 400 pixel length.

I also use a fair amount of 234x60's. I can often chop a 468x60 down to make them but it sure is easier when the programs offer a few.

Maybe someone could share his thoughts on the banner sizes in relation to their performance. E.g. click through rate (CTR), downloads or even signups?

My best performing banner ads are 486 x 60

Generally I still find the usual suspects popular - although a lot of 234x60 requests of late. In terms of conversions - 468x60 and 120x600 still seem to be best but 300x250 and 125 x125 come in close as well due to where they usually appear on the page (i.e above the fold in the RHS of the page)

My favorites are 120x240, 468x60, 125x125, 728x90 and I like the very thin ones - 300x30 I think is the size, but not many programs seem to offer them.
