Best affiliate program?
Hello everyone,i'm a new member of this association - so hello everyone!
I thought I'd introduce myself to the list with this post, cos i want to get involved in affiliate programs. Empire of Gold (they run King Solomon's Casino and some others i've not heard of) have an affiliate program that claims to be the best on the web??
It's really simple, which i like, but basically doesn't offer tiers,it's a flat 35% for all, however small you are,and all the usual lifetime revenues and friend referals as standard.
Has anyone else tried it? And not being experienced in this area,is this the best one to sign up to? If you want to look at it www.empireofaffiliates.com ...any help would be greatly appreciated (by me and my bank manager!)

Welllll, first of all - they ALL claim to be the best on the 'net!
The Empire of Affiliates program is brand new (as in last week),so we can't give you any input on this one. We won't know for a couple of months.
This is a very interesting game - figuring out which ones are good and which ones are bad. It's something we spend a lot of time on in the Private Forums.
There are a lot of reputable, dependable affiliate programs out there, though.
Just FYI - Simply registering at this board does not make you a member of this association. Membership here is for portal owners only, and you must apply and be approved for admittance to the Private Forums.

Thanks for pointing out this affiliate program, but I have a small problem.
Your email address is dominicm@ludusonline.com,and as we all know,ludosonline.com aka aquaonline.com are the people who market the software for these casinos.
We are all well informed intelligent business people in here so please give us the respect we deserve, and introduce your program legitimately instead of trying to pretend you are something you are not.
Thank you.

I have to tell you,DPM.......
I just put Lucky Liner on my site, but this casino needs some serious work in the marketing department. If it doesn't perform very quickly for me,which I doubt it will,it's coming off my site.
1) Your banners leave much to be desired. I especially love the fact that Lucky Liner only offers a $25 bonus, but all your banners say $75. Just a little misleading - and if my player clicks thru to one of those other casinos,is it tracked to me?
2) Your signon bonus requirements are stiff. Playthrough 5 times to receive the bonus the NEXT day? Hello? Do you know how many players you're going to lose right there? In all sales, you strike while the iron is hot! That means, once you get the player going, you KEEP him going while you can. Give him a day to cool down, and what do you have?
3) Your Comp club is ridiculously tight. 300 points = $1??? Do I need to even explain why?
I'm going to check out the other 2 casinos in this group, and if they're all like this,I don't believe I'll be promoting them on my site.

ok,hands up - busted! it was worth a try... apologies for being misleading.
addressing a couple of points posted;
Our sign-on bonuses are fairly stiff, but this gets rid of all the bonus chasers and leaves serious players only, the stats since we changed the bonus prove this.
r.e. if players download other casinos, then yep,you get all that commission too. that's the idea...do other programs do that?
and my question,we're running a promotion this month that effectively gives all affiliates the equivalent to 50% commission...i.e. if an affiliate generates $3500 in profit for themselves, then we'll throw in $1500...does this sound competitive to people?

I don't have a problem with anyone's playthrough requirements.
What I have a problem with is casinos that make the player playthrough first, then wait another day or two to give the bonus. It's ridiculous, and you lose the player.
I can tell you,for a fact, that casinos that instantly credit the bonus do much better business, and have higher conversion and retention rates - regardless of what the playthrough requirements are.
Here's the thing. With virtually every casino on the 'net offering bonuses, the game is won by the casinos that give that bonus fastest; again, regardless of the playthrough requirements.
Faster bonuses equate to better customer service in the player's mind, and it's usually the truth.
Also,as a player myself,I resent these bonuses, and won't play at casinos like this. Why? Because YOU're betting that I won't be able to make my initial deposit last long enough to get through the playthrough requirements,so it really has nothing to do with 'bonus abuse'. I believe it has much more to do with your being greedy and going for the 'quick buck',rather than a long-term relationship with your player. A very short-sighted,but not uncommon position in the online casino industry.

I also have to comment that if you wanted to introduce your affiliate program here why didn't you contact the admin to start out ?? Why try to do what you did. This reflects badly on you as a legitimate program for us as webmasters to get involved with. You want to instill trust you don't lie or mislead to begin with. I am an affiliate with this but didn't see this posting until recently, now I'm considering pulling you from my site because of this.
