Bet365 are - to be honest - bloody hopeless

Trying to get paid by Bet365 is becoming harder and harder every year. Not content with forcing affiliates to print off an invoice, sign it, scan it and then e-mail it - it seems that Bet365 try to make so many mistakes in sending affiliate payments that we'll hopefully forget all about the money and write it off as too much hard work.

After waiting ages for a bank transfer (which for some reason takes 10 days? - perhaps Bet365 are sending payments via donkey or pigeon) - and assuring me that it would be with me soon, they've now told me that they've posted me a cheque! Really useful, especially as I left the UK a few days ago. I'm not sure if staff at Bet365 are banned from talking to each other (which would explain why no-one has a clue what anyone else has done) but please get someone from payments to talk to someone else from payments and find out why I've been told for days to expect a transfer that will never arrive.

Getting paid from Bet365 is just too damn difficult. Most programs make getting paid a breeze. Bet365 seem to excel in being the most difficult of all programs to actually get your hands on your money. Forget it - I'll send it over to VC Bet instead.

If anyone at Bet365 can be bothered to get things done right and send me MY money via BANK TRANFER as requested then please check (not to be confused with 'cheque') my affiliate account and sent the payment to the bank account as originally requested. My aff ID is 'fictionnet'

I have to stand up here and say that Bet365 are the best program that I've worked with and have never ever had a problem with being paid.

I don't even need to worry about being paid by them (unlike other brands) because they've been paying like clockwork month after month as soon as I send the invoice in which isn't too difuclt because as webmaster's we should be able to copy, paste, sign, scan and send back with no problems.

If you have any problems, contact James or Rebecca, you will get a very quick response.

    Apology to FictionNet

    Rob

    I hope you are well.

I would like to apologise to you on behalf of bet365.

I have in my time here never known an instance of a cheque being sent in error in place of a bank wire - we have made a mistake here and it is inexcusable as was the hassle you have experienced.

I have emailed you outlining how I hope to rectify the situation, and if you ever have an issue like this again please email me, or Rebecca Jones, your affiliate manager (rebecca.jones@bet365.com).

In the unlikely event we don't respond due to leave, try the email addresses below (one email to all of the addresses below will be fine someone will pick it up) or call/text mine or Rebecca's mobile so that we can call you...

Have to stand up for bet365 also on this matter... have never had any problem regarding payment....I have promoted them since 2003 and in all those years I can only remember that I was worried one when they were it took a couple of days for them to pay me, after I sended the invoice... The reason for that was that the bet365 staff was at a affiliate conference in those days

Every month they pay like clockwork. Often 2-3 hours after I send the invoice, I recieve the payment. I recieve them to my player account, and from there it takes max. 1-2 days for bank-payments, and 1-3 hours for online wallet payments.

Bet365 is the only program I trust when it comes to payment along with Nordicbet and Bet24.... Thats why I keep bet365 on toppositions at most of my sites..I want to recieve payment on 1-2nd every month, and bet365is one of the only programs that keep this up.

yes sometimes it can be annoying that you have to print out the invoice, write in your signature etc, and them email or fax it back...But I much rather do that and be 99,8% secure that I recieve the payment later that day, then wait to 10.-20. in the month and recieve payment sometime in this period from other programs.

I understand your frustation FictionNet..... must be somekind of misstake that your payment is so long time on the way

FictionNet has a valid grumble - the affiliate service in this case seems poor ...
Good to see an AM stepping in to say so and get it sorted.

But .. I have to say that Bet365 continue to be top-notch overall regards their product and affiliate service.

I'm pleased to hear things normally work like clockwork for most affs - it just hasn't been my experience but the situation should be resolved tomorrow, thanks to James for his intervention. I've sent James an e-mail with my thoughts on the invoicing requirement issue.

Hey James, what do you think about getting rid of the complicated invoice procedure?

95% of the programs I promote pay automatically every month -- no printing, signing, scanning, or emailing required -- they just pay me what I earned like clockwork. This is nice because I can spend less time messing around with invoices and more time marketing.

Anything you can do to make affiliate payments arrive automatically every month would be greatly appreciated. Please think about it...

    Bet365 Service

Fiction i also have to put my 2 cents in though i do agree with you re the invoicing , i think that Bet365 are grreat in terms of looking after affiliates and they have always responded very quickly to any issues that i have mailed them.

The invoicing system does seem to be a bit of a waste of time though. I guess each business has its reasons though for implementing things.

invoicing is not a problem as long as it is 100% in digital format (e.g. request withdrawal after log in to backend, or accept invoice without physical signing, or PDF file with digital signature), otherwise it is very troublesome in Internet age.

Other than the time waste on admin work, many affiliate marketers do not invest a printer and a scanner just for receiving affiliate commission. The machines are idle for no use other than that.

Just as time consuming, however, for people without access to a printer or scanner, just keep a scanned png file your signature and insert into electronic copy of the invoice and email back.

I'll agree, having to submit a hand signed invoice is a bit of a pain in the butt. But on the whole I have to agree with the concensus - Bet365 are a great program (although if you ever fancied dropping the NCO, I'm sure no one would complain ).

Getting rid of the invoicing procedure would not only save time from affiliates but also from bet365 staff... It can't be illegal to get rid of it as everyone else does it (except for bet365 and betfair as far as I know), so I think it's a great idea!

I don't see why everyone is getting their panties in a twist over the whole Bet365 invoice situation. It takes about 5 minutes and they always pay you within a few hours of sending them off. No waiting for several weeks like at other programs.

I don't know why that's the case with you, but Betfair have never made me send an invoice off.

yes, if you have such equipment PLUS
plugged and connected to computer and electricity, set up on the table ready to use)

The pain is there are home workers do not have them because
everything is encouraged to be paperless nowadays.

Even if it takes one minute it is still a waste of time and an unnecessary line in my monthly to-do list.

I'm sure that each and everyday, everyone on this forum wastes more than 5 minutes whether it's watching raywilliamjohnson on youtube, trolling a forum (borderline what you're doing) or wasting time on Facebook.

Fact is, Bet365 are one of the most affiliate friendly programs there is and more importantly, they're player friendly as well. They offer an all round far superior online gambling service than almost anyone else and to be honest, if you're going to promote inferior sites to your readers ahead of Bet365 then you should be embarrassed.

The troublesome procedure has nothing to say the program is bad and not worthy to promote.

But it is important to point it out in the hope that they can do something on it for the better.
