    Default Betfair Spammer !

Betfair please stop this spammer !

Since the affiliate tag was right in my face, this is getting reported.

Got a mail with the subject "Betfair Bonus", and they have no permission to mail me what so ever.

    From: promotions@myjackpotcasinos.net

    Affiliate Tag: XXtp://ads.betfair.com/redirect.aspx?pid=61382&bid=6478

It seems like this is Bonusfinders.com and they have done it before according to this tread below:

    http://www.gpwa.org/forum/bonus-find...us-192537.html

I am sick and tired of these guys please shut them down.

Hmm, so after a month i get a PM from Betfair, well done !

    They are asking for:

"We would be happy to request that your e-mail address is removed from this affiliates mailing list if you are happy to supply us with the e-mail address that is receiving this correspondance."
Ah, so you want to tell the affiliate which email address reported them and ask them to remove me from the list, OMG !

Well, first i should not ask to be removed from a list i never subscribed to !
And if you tell this affiliate my mail address, what is going to stop him from spamming me even more or even sell my details (Again) ? He will most likely be pissed of since i did report him !

Once i complained about a similar thing on Tower, the manager gladly told me he had requested the affiliate to remove me from the list (i did not give the manager permission to share my details with the spammer) ! Well, guess what, i have been seriusly attacked with spam ever since. (I guess the affiliate got pissed)

So Betfair you will never get the address this mail was send to, but you can get a copy of the mail and everything else apart from my details. (I also told Betfair this in the PM i replied to today)

So just got this reply below:

    Hello,

Please be assured that we are trying to help in resolving this issue. Also, I wanted to make you aware that we are running another campaign with the affiliate. Therefore, you may receive another e-mail and we apologise in advance if you do.

Please note that you can use the opt-out link on the e-mail to stop receiving further promotional communications from this affiliate.

    Kind regards,
    Laura

Why on earth should i opt out for something i did NOT opt in for in the first place ?

And why should i click on ANY link in a spam mail ? I would NEVER do that, and i donīt like to get such advice !

I gave you the proof i had that they are spamming, + the link that shows they did before, what do you need ? Are Betfair affiliates free to spam all they want ?

This is so wrong in so many ways. The affiliate has sent spam, is that not against BetFair's T & C's? I am sure there is a no spam clause in there. It makes no difference what email rec'd the spam, the recipient never opted in to the list, this makes the mail 100% SPAM! Betfair should have ceased the spamming per the guidelines, not by saying "What is your email? I will tell him to remove you" And Betfair, since you condone spam, why should one have to unsubscribe to a list the never subscribed too?

I am so sick of these programs talking out of both sides of their mouths. I have started my list of "Places not to promote" and will add betfair to the list now. This uncaring attitude of certain programs is sickening!

DO THE RIGHT THING BETFAIR, END THE SPAM!!

    Hello

myBet has recently got complaints from our users who got spammed by promotions@myjackpotcasinos.net
We have currently investigated who is that affiliate and the affiliate will be contacted by the myBet key account manager to stop spamming people.
If he doesn't stop, we will need to remove him from our affiliate program.

    regards,
    myBet

I have the same problem. How can I opt out from their spam e-mails? I've been getting this e-mails ever since I signed up to them. Maybe because it is activated in my account option that I should get e-mails from them, including SPAMS!!!
