    BetUS Partners Bye Bye

    Just got an email....

    Important Update.

    Dear Afilliate,
On behalf of the team at BetUS Partners I would like to thank you for your continued support of our program through the years. Your dedication has meant a great deal to us and we have very much enjoyed working closely with you.
Unfortunately, the BetUS Partners Affiliate Program will cease to exist in its current form effective immediately. Nevertheless, we will remain committed to paying commissions on players acquired to date and will have staff available to you should you have any questions or concerns.
Since the BetUS Partners site will be taken offline, marketing materials and reporting will no longer be available. Please don't hesitate to contact us directly should you need to update your profile or payment instructions.
Thank you once again for your support and understanding. We wish you all the best and great success.
    Kind regards,
Erin Argue – Director of Strategic Partnerships
    Email – erin@betus.com
Kat Chaves – Affiliate Marketing Director

CROOKS!!! We've been on to their act since early May so this is no surprise to many of us. Nothing but a bunch of crooks, liars, cheats and frauds. I hope all affiliates remember these guys when they try to pop up with a new sportsbook name and aliases in the future trying to get new affiliates.

All affiliates need to learna lesson from this and rip down all programs that even show the slightest signs of fraud, lying and cheating. No more "give them the benefit of the doubt" crap. Programs like BoDog and Bet365 have been running A+ programs for over a decade now. So there's no reason everyone else can't do the same.

Last message to BetUS and all your owners and employees. **** You.

They "were" a great program, but this decision came from the uppers not the Affiliate team.

Erin, Kat, and the rest of the A-Team are not at fault here.

Don't shoot the messengers....(NOT that you are, just sayin).

As long as Betus doesn't stop paying on players already signed up I won't be as mad.

The industry is in a messy state right now....scary times.

I respectfully disagree. I keep hearing the industry is in a "messy state" yet I still see the true A+ operations like BoDog and Bet365 continuing to operate flawlessly and with no problems as usual. The bottom line is this industry is full of 90% crooks and 10% good guys like it always has been. It's sad, but true.

The guys pretending to be "good guys"(ie BetUS) eventually get exposed or run out of gas and everyone acts as if the industry is a "mess". Not true. It's just a fact that only 1 out of 10 sportsbooks/casinos/poker rooms can be trusted and counted on. It's been that way for the last 10 plus years now.

The bottom line is BetUS is nothing but a FRAUD and a bunch of CROOKS. Will they pay us for April and May? Ya, probably. So what? They will continue to fudge stats like they started in late May and nobody will get their accurate earning from here on out. If they say you made $300 in July but really made $8000 are you going to be happy?

Nobody and I repeat NOBODY is going to get their accurate earnings from here on out if any at all. I am willing to bet BetUS is out of business entirely within 6 months or sold to another sportsbook by the end of 2011 football season.

This industry IS in a messy state right now. Your right there are scam books out there, but we (in north america promoting offshore books) might be FOCKED this time next year. You really think you can convert Euro/Asian traffic like you did USA/CDN traffic for NA sports betting?

I don't see it as of yet, it is however time to make your sites more "global" folks, or start making contacts at the Vegas books sure to come online when all this shakes it self out, they may need affiliates too...

    Just my .02c.

(I know I rarely post on GPWA) just had some spare time today...LOL

Hey Wager, I have to say I agree with you; Euro/Asian will not even come close to converting like the good ole USofA. I also ditto that we do need to aim our sites in new directions.

What I don't believe is that Vegas casinos will need affiliates, they wont, but even if they did, no way will they pay like the books now pay. I see them if they do have affiliates paying a small CPA. Ceasers, MGM, etc, forget it, if we get $10 CPA from them we will be lucky.

There are still plenty of books out there accepting and converting US traffic. BetUS is a drop in the bucket. They and their apologists will want us to believe it's all a processing issue but that's just bullsh*t.

BetUS simply saw two of their top competitors for US traffic(Sportsbook and SIA) bow out of the US market and saw that as an oppurtunity to cash in their chips and screw affiliates. It's only a matter of time before their owners pop up a new sportsbook and try to recruit new affiliates while not telling them that they used to own BetUS. It will happen.

And you guys really think there aren't books out their taking US players as we speak and converting them? They still exist and always will. BetUS whining and crying about processing is a joke. They are CROOKS and THIEVES. Their owners are bums and anyone who lied and covered up for them is just as guilty in my opinion. They can all go suck it.
