    Bing VS Google

hi im very new to gambling affiliating and am doing my best to learn about seo techniques, i am using the rank checker tool in firefox and seeing some interesting results, for the search terms "best slots" and "best bonus" and "best bonuses" i dont get any results from google or yahoo but i am in the top 10 for these terms in Bing, i know these are highly competetive keywords and my site is only a few weeks old..do people use bing, i read is the 3rd most used search engine and do any other affiliates get good traffic from bing searchs...? any help would be greatly appreciated
    thanks

Definitely, users search in Bing. With Google, there's so much issues on their ranking factors, like authority, trust and nigh quality.

Most people rely on Bing than Google. Google nowadays based their search engine rankings upon high quality back links and contents.

Right now, even with some good rankings in Bing, I see very little traffic compared to Google. Yahoo has pretty much disappeared aswell. However I think UltimatePokerBonus has a very valid point: the gap between Google and Bing is still large but does show signs of closing over time.

Having all your eggs in one basket is also never a great idea. If your site got penalised by Google or the algorithms shifted unfavourably then having Bing rankings becomes even more important. Relying on backlinks is certainly something that many of us do - especially in Google - but it sounds like that landscape may be about to change too.

Even though i would like to say that Bing and Yahoo are comonly used search engines Google is still king. Many people still use Google, although me personally find myself using Bing more and more, mainly because i see better more relevant search results.

In spite of Googles suposed algorithm changes over the past, When doing seaches on google I see a lot of crappy spammy sites at the top of the seach list, but as people mention its good to optimize as best as possible for all the search engines, after all the more traffic, the more potential conversions.

My sites get about 90% traffic from Google about 5% from Bing and 5% from others.

Bing can be a good option, but as far as I know lots of people are still optimizing for Google. We cannot deny the fact that traffic from Google can be quite larger than bing.

I get 99% from Google and 1% from other search engines. I never had much luck ranking outside of Google.

Not sure where you get your thoughts about Bing Joeadams, but saying that most people rely on Bing as opposed to Google would be ignoring the numbers.

Google has WAAAAAY more market-share then Bing....

Microsoft's numbers are improving and as been stated above it would be smart to optimize for both...

I like the fact that it is turning around since more competition is good for the marketplace.

I sorta agree with this but that depends on what I am looking for.

I will use Bing some, but when it comes to finding this tech related I will turn to Google every time....

In fact when I am looking for stuff to fix Microsoft products, even when I am looking for Microsoft Knowledge Base specific answers, I have found that google gives me much better results than Bing....

Now when I am looking for parts, it is the exact opposite....Google returns so many crappy results of pages that do nothing but list part numbers and other crap to get visitors to google-ads that I rarely use google for that....

When I am looking for gambling related stuff I will use either or both depending on my mood, time of day and whether it is the first or third Thursday of the month....
