UK Poker Sites

So what makes UK Poker Sites so interesting for me as an affiliate? Well that is a good question. I have never been to the UK, but hopefully plan to visit soon. Unfortunately I will not be attending the LAC Event this year again (OMG another year missing it - really wanted to go), but hopefully will be able to attend the next year and maybe add in a trip to Amsterdam where I plan to stay for around 3 months and meet us with Mario my business partner. Anyways why the fascination with UK Poker and why do I keep asking for converting brands?

Since the start of being an affiliate I was always focused on US poker sites and spent a great deal of time trying to find ways to attract US players since I had this perception they were of super strong value. Problem was it was so competitive and it was difficult to break the market with the links of the big guns. Also being from Canada I had to real understanding of European traffic and in particular the UK.

As the whole US Poker fiasco started back in April I found myself disgusted at the thought of losing 50% of all traffic - well not losing it but not being able to convert it simply because there was no where to send them to. Even today the US poker market is serious a real big pain - hard to get players and when you do its a risk with getting paid.

While I decided to shift my focus to the UK Poker and other European Poker Sites I noticed the value in them. They really seem to be more serious about playing - play longer, deposit more and simply show more value - plus the currency they use is much better then the US dollar

With all the issues surrounding the US, and being that there is regulation in the UK - I find it much safer to deal with major brands in the UK.

One of those UK Poker brands I really like is Guru Play Poker - they have been nothing but super since to me along the way and have been open to several ideas and ways to increase conversions. The same can be said for 888 Poker and Everest Poker - all these brands have been so super and i have been fortunate to deal with AM's of the top caliber who want to see me as an affiliate succeed. For this I am doing everything I can as an affiliate to meet us with their expectations!

Anyways I am always looking for more super UK brands that convert well - if anyone has any ideas please let me know - I am always looking for brands that cater to the European market and really care about their affiliates. But the three i have mentioned above I feel are doing a great job to date!!

Hope you enjoyed my experience.
