Having made a complete fool of myself by predicting, basically, that Chelsea would beat Villa to nil, I'm back again with a preview of Blackpool vs Birmingham.

Blackpool actually haven't been that great at home this season - most of their victories have been on the road.

By contrast, Birmingham City have been, well, 'meh' all season and, quite frankly, their sluggish, artless football bores the hell out of me.

So, it's a New Year and there's a big Premier League match today, between the under performing Chelsea and the even more underperforming Aston Villa.

Currently, Chelsea sit 5th in the League, a point behind Spurs and it's crucial for their season to keep ahead of Tottenham. I can't imagine the consequences if Chelsea fall out of the Champions League positions.
