Exclamation Broadway Gaming Ltd (affiliates) financial difficulties?

Rumors say that Broadway Gaming LTD is close to bankruptcy. They do not pay not only to affiliate partners, but also to their employees. Unofficial information from a person closely related to the topic. May the black scenario not come true.

Good because it shows if you run a sh*tty operation you get whats coming to you. Obviously not good for the staff and I have sympathy for them if they do go under, although you can't argue that most of them should have seen it coming and jumped ship way back.

What do they expect the outcome to be if there's misconduct involved among them. This is a worrying trend and us affiliates get caught up in it all and have to suffer.

They deleted our affiliate account without any warning and there were circa 65 players there.

Never received a penny from them in all the years promoting them.

    Hi,

The danger of unverified rumours is that anyone can just throw them around on internet forums with no regard for anyone involved.

Not a single legitimate affiliate payment has been reneged on and not a single employee has ever not been paid.

Anyone who has worked with us for a long time knows that it is common that our accounts team can be late making payments. We're not the only ones in the industry with this issue but that's not an excuse.

Again, anyone who has worked with us for a long time knows that we pay........... eventually. I'm sure any affiliate reading this will appreciate that accounts issues are as also a pain in the neck for those of us working on the affiliate teams. We make promises based on information passed down to us and when affiliates don't get paid, it's our names tagged on forums etc.

I can't speak for others, but when there's a legitimate debt owed to someone from the company I always go out of my way to try get it sorted.

I've been working here for almost 7 years and i've never deleted an account. Was the original account with To PLay Affiliates by any chance? Please PM me and we can chat about this off thread. I can get this sorted, whatever the issue might have been.

Thanks for the tag. The reality is that we have stopped CPA deals for the time being. We are still working with affiliates on Rev Share etc. in the mean time. We should be back up and running with regard to CPA in the next couple of months.

While this is going on, all outstanding commissions are still valid and will be honoured.

I don't post much but i feel like i have to post now. I know Rob & Simon for ages, and yes accounts guys very late sometimes and yes, it's pissing off most of us. I've always been paid and i know i will get paid, hopefully soon. Unfortunately they are not the only ones delaying.... and it seems that it's getting harder and harder and to be honest we cannot do much about then sit and wait and trust that they will do their job.

I work with them since I've started my sites 6-7 years ago and have a solid user base with them. I do not want to believe that they will go bust and I don't think they will go soon.

What I've learned in the past year and a half is that companies are structuring and adjusting and this is not easy, especially those who focus a lot on the UK market.

For transparency sake I must add that we always got paid by Broadway ( granted sometimes with slight delays ) and they always honored our agreement and I have no doubt they will continue to do so.

Rob_BroadwayGaming, thanks for your comments. It gave a little relief.

All the mess is because of late payments, which is against the T&C:

True. It's an issue we've had for a while. But all outstanding monies will be paid.

I can't promise that they'll be paid within 45 days but they'll be paid

This is one of the many reasons why we stay from affiliate deals nowadays. You just never know who you can and can't trust anymore and the majority of the time, the operator will find a way to screw you as an affiliate.

Can you imagine if an operator paid for a campaign and you said it might be live within 45 days and it might not. How would they react?

My advice to fellow affiliates would be get money in advance before running any campaign and that way you at least know that you have got something for running the campaign rather than putting all your time and work in to get something running for an operator with the chance of not being paid or having to wait however long for your money. It's a disgrace that the majority of operators think they can basically do what they want, when they want.

My affiliate account was closed without prior notice, so that's not true.

You'll find it difficult to get money up front from most affiliate managers. And rightfully so in my opinion. Pre-payment is an absolute mine-field!

    Hi,

I've gone onto your profile and figured out who you are.

I've gone into your account and it is active.

I sent out a mass-mail on 07-12-2017 explaining that if web properties were not deemed compliant under UKGC & ASA regulations that we would have to suspend them until such a time as they became compliant. This was only one of MANY mails that I sent out to affiliates.

You replied to this email on 16-04-2018 saying you believed your account to be fully compliant. At this point I passed the case onto the relevant member of the affiliate team who I had asked to deal with compliance issues.

I see now that your account is active.

What a ridiculous comment and one that you can tell definitely comes from the operators point of view.

Rightfully so? Seriously? Even with what a lot of operators are doing at the moment and trying to screw affiliates over at every given opportunity?

Prepayment is a minefield but running an affiliate deal isn't? With the risk of an affiliate deal of putting all the work & time in with the risk of not getting paid. I am pretty sure that I would rather have the 'money in the bank' (even if it is less than I would get on an affiliate deal, long term). I know from now on, if someone wants to be on our sites, they will have to prepay for the privilege.
