Been thinking I just may attend only a 16 hour drive from Greece. I will be in Greece until the 30th of August and maybe could delay my departure date if my son gives me the permit lol.

Love Greece - Went there 2 years ago island hopping - You may also be able to get a train up - In Europe these tend to be pretty cheap and dam fast and often go overnight so you can sleep all the way there

My annual pilgrimage to Greece I stay in Glyfada approx 30 min outside of Athens. I jump around a fair bit to the Islands, Villages, and sometimes Cyprus. I have a place in Northern Greece and relatives all over the place. I can hardly wait!

Alex this just be something I will be able to attend if your the organizer. It will be convenient seeing I will be in the area. Train sounds like a good way to go!

OMG I love Glyfada... I can't wait to go back there again...

Speaking of which, Alex - Glyfada Beach would be an awesome place for affiliate parties (hint hint)... gotta say that the clubs on Glyfada beach are some of the best I've been to in the world. Not that I've been to many, but OMG. Amazing. I was at this one in 2007 and FloRider and T-Pain were DJing there.. It was AWESOME!

I hear ya Renee, I often wondered why one event could not be held in Greece. Glyfada is by no stretch of the imagination simply amazing. The clubs, hotels, music, food, entertainment, beaches, likely is the best in the World.

Hey Renee I have access to a car and a fagio. Love cruising the coastline late evening just awesome!

Thanks for the link Renee, be in Northern Greece late August. Should be a cheap train ride to Budapest and a nice way to end my holidays.

One of teh reasons is the legal situation there as they are pretty strict it seems so we don't want to rub them up the wrong way but its one to add on the list! Maybe hire one of small islands and charter a boat to get peope there - Now that would be amazing.....maybe a little unlikely

Greece is a wonderful place, but as Alex said, they are very strict there.. I was on a boat from Athens to Crete and there was a sign on the computers saying "Online Gaming is Illegal" blah blah blah...

Shame... it would definitely be an awesome place.. I hope you're able to do something Alex.. I would actually try to plan leave around that time just so I could go even if I had to pay for it out of my own pocket.

There are ways of doing this long as we do not run around like a bunch a rabid monkeys, or be disrespectful. Speak with the right people and you should not have any problems Alex.

Hotel is sold out!!! We have got another one already - Its now the Intercontinental which is just a few mins away - My advice is book this because it will sell out and each time you will be further away form the action
