Business model for new affiliate manager

Hey guys,

This is my 2nd day since I discovered this market for affiliate manager. Im trying to learn from scratch about the industry and the interaction between affiliate manager and webmaster and its "trust" relationship, the payment method and system, and basically how to succeed in this field.

I would appreciate if I can get some info about this industry.
So far, I understand the online poker has been active for about 10 yrs and new things are happening everyday.

Where can I find a pond of good webmasters and what is the going commission rate for each players they bring through their websites?

Best advice would be to stick around here...

Spend some time working through each of the forum sections and reading the 'Sticky' threads for good coverage of the core issues.

The newbies sections will have tons of questions and comments that those who have gone before you have asked and if you can't find the answer you need there then post the questions yourself - don't worry if you think it will sound stupid...

The only stupid questions are the ones you don't ask!

This place is a great resource where you can cut to the chase and get some quality advice but other than that, there aren't really any short-cuts, just have to keep going and going and going....

Commission rates vary greatly from operator to operator but mostly fall into the 25-45 percent range.
