    CAIGAMES.COM has decided to stop trading

    Just received the following e-mail.

    Dear CAIGAMES.COM Affiliate,

    We are writing to notify you that, as a result of the restructuring of Casino Austria’s Group’s activities, CAIGAMES.COM has decided to stop trading using the CAIGAMES.COM name and will close its website www.caigames.com with effect from the 8th November2011 at 5.00pm.

    Our company’s decision to cease its operations under the CAIGAMES.COM license will not in any manner affect your rights over the funds which we hold to your credit in your affiliate account. We wish to stress that your funds will remain safe and secure.Where we already have your payment details, the funds will be refunded to you within 5 days from today.

    On behalf of the entire CAIGAMES.COM team we would like to apologize for any inconvenience that this decision may cause and sincerely thank you for your previous custom.

    Did anyone hear of this coming? No word in the e-mail about whether they intend to relaunch under a different name.

    Hi Rob, I would imagine that they will be planning to launch something else down the line. Casinos Austria International is a massive organisation and I reckon they are probably taking stock of things to find their place in the market - could well be in the B2B market, but that's just a hunch. That being said, they will certainly need a few affiliates knocking on their door to ensure a migration of data is made if they do start up another B2C offering if you're looking to keep players tied in.
