CAP Spring Break 09 and other dates

Hi All,

I know with so much going on its often hard to keep up with everything but here is a quick summery of what we have coming up plus the details on SPRING BREAK!!!!!!!

CAP Down Under - Sydney - 25th - 26th Nov
CAP Awards - The Brewery, London Jan 29th
CAP Euro: London - London - Jan 29th - Feb 1st
CAP Spring Break - Cancun, March 21st week (informal and fun)
CAP Euro: Amsterdam - Amsterdam April 30th - May 3rd (backs on to A4UExpo.com)
CAP Euro: ??? (was Barcelona) - Mid to late Sept

Some information on SpringBreak

Often described as "the best event I have ever been to" Spring Break is back and is going to be even better in 09 as we are taking back to the "old skool"

So what does that mean? Well this is how its going to work - All certified partners, affiliates and their families go free (which is pretty much everyone) and anyone can sponsor, organise dinners or what ever they want - We will be around to facilitate the event and make it happen but importantly we taking the event back to how it started: an informal meeting of affiliates and affiliate managers in a to die for environment where they can holiday and party with the best friends, family, fellow affiliates and operators - In my opinion the only way business should be done

SO WHERE?

The plan is Cancun!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YES Cancun on March 21st week perfectly 2 months after CAP Euro London and 1 months before CAP Euro Amsterdam.

At the moment we are contacting a variety of all inclusive resorts to negotiate the very best rate we can get so within the next 4 weeks we will confirm the dates, venue and rate and we are blast off

Not yet - We are still seeking venues at the moment but I reckon we have it down to three now

Cancun sounds great to me too. Relatively close to the US for us affiliates who cannot just hop a flight to Europe or elsewhere! I've never done a CAP conference - mainly because they are too far.

I prefere conferences witha good mix of formal sessions and social time - but the location is too good to pass up!

Happy days mexico just a short 2 hour trip from Costa Rica, I love the events in Europe but the jet lag and 5 or 6 days of busines and partying is a killer.

Just to confirm the rumors, yes, it is true- CAP's Warren sent me a message the other day confirming that I have been "banned" from all CAP events because of the situation between him, Lou and Michael. Totally unfair as I was not involved- a low blow if you ask me.

Anyway, I will be in London regardless, so if anyone would like to meet up, I'm happy to do so...in the hotel lobby. ha ha

Gosh, a girl goes on vaca and checks in to see this? Who would ban Rebecca? Teresa, are you banned too? Vin? You banned? No worries, I've been banned awhile now and life goes on in a much better way.

Luckily, I'm still on a working vaca but had to chime in on this one. See you next week!

Before I sign out I just want to say, no matter who tells you to 'stop the board wars' or whatever, it is absolutly everyones right, no matter what side of the fence (or obviously the middle in some cases) you are allowed to speak your mind without fear of getting banned at the GPWA.
