I am really pleased to be able to announce that the registration for both CAP SpringBreak and the Poker Affiliate Conference 2008 is now open and already filling up fast (http://www.event-space.com/capspringbreak/Home.asp).

If you have had your head in the sand and are not aware of the events taking place in May I have listed below a small description for each one, but please click on their respective websites should you need any further information. The events themselves overlap and are taking place in Cyprus from May 19th - May 24th and form a perfect balance of exhibition, conference and networking events in a luxury resort in sunny Cyprus just a few hours from mainland Europe and 40 minutes from Israel making it an ideal location for an iGaming event.

All change for the 5th ASOP at CAP Euro Cyprus
Following an incredible fourth event in London in January the ASOP (Affiliate Series of Poker) is back and is set to be even bigger and better than ever before

The ASOP (as seen on the Poker Channel Europe) is an international series of poker tournaments specifically for affiliates. The massive prize pools of $20,000 along with gold and diamond winner’s bracelet ensures the competition is always fierce! But what makes this series really unique is that taking part in the qualifying freerolls is completely free of charge; you just have to be an affiliate registered to attend the offline event where the tournament will take place.

The next ASOP event will be taking place with a backdrop of sun, sea and surf. The event is being held on the sun drenched holiday island of Cyprus during CAP SpringBreak and the Poker Conference and as always will be filmed and shown on the Poker Channel Europe.

Unlike previous tournaments though, the field of players is going to be upped to 50 and played as a freeze out following feed back from previous final table qualifiers. Due to legal reasons the organisers are unable to give out cash prizes at this event, however has only ensured even better prizes which now include a seat in the WSOP main event, an even bigger and more bling winner’s bracelet plus paid accommodation in Barcelona for the top 6 finalists.

Poker legend and wit Dave ‘Devilfish’ Ulliott has been invited to give the keynote speech at the Poker Conference and Expo and Casino Affiliate Program (CAP) Spring Break conference at the Grand Resort in Limassol, Cyprus on May 21 this year following in the footsteps of the great Doyle Brunson who addressed the delegates last year.

Described as one of the most feared players in poker, Ulliott, is ambassador for DevilfishPoker.com and a one-man variety show and is sure to treat delegates attending CAP SpringBreak and the Poker Conference to unique insights unlikely to be gleaned anywhere else. The last jewel in the crown of CAP Spring Break 2008 has been secured – party hosts Fortune Affiliates and PlayShare reveal that the infamous closing party slot will take place in Limassol’s VIP club Sesto Senso.
