Default ***Captain Cooks - Still not using Scumware.***

Hi there,

I've heard some disturbing reports that Captain Cooks Casino is being criticised for using Scumware / Predatory Advertising. Let me say again Captain Cooks Casino does not and will not use Predatory Advertising - even though it potentially puts our casino at a competitive disadvantage.

At the end of the day the actions of the scumware/spyware marketing companies affect our site as well as those of our affiliates and the sites that we carry out advertising with.

Accordingly Captain Cooks Casino does not endorse the use of predatory advertising by our affiliates either. Should you come across any such advertising, please send details including the site where the ad appeared, suspected spyware used and the affiliate tag contained in the link to webmaster@cccecom.com.

While we hope you accept that the behavior of our affiliates is largely out of our control, Captain Cooks Casino reserves the right to invoke clause 2.5 in our terms and conditions (see below), for persistent abuse of predatory advertising by affiliates.

2.5 You will not knowingly benefit from known or suspected traffic not generated in good faith whether or not it actually causes Captain Cooks Casino damage. Should fraudulent activity arise through a person directed to Captain Cooks Casino via your link, we retain the right to retract the commissions paid to you at any time. Our decision in this regard will be final and no correspondence will be entered into. We reserve the right to retain all amounts due to you under this Agreement if we have reasonable cause to believe that such traffic has been caused with your knowledge. Even if you have not knowingly generated such traffic, we reserve the right to withhold referral fees with respect to such traffic.

Thanks for your attention in this matter.

Default more illusions

captain cooks
if you decide not to support it, stop advertising on overture, overture is getting gator traffic from searchscout.com.

Maybe you are just afraid of lossing $$, until now gator advertising was ok for you ..etc and your profits have been high, now you suddenly want to be a good guy and no more gator..etc Fine

this is just my webmaster opinion, I know there are many more webmasters who dont have anything againsts gator, people that dont read terms when installing programs, deserve this.
You should know that when you install WinXp you dont own your PC anymore but MS owns it, go read installation terms.

Default Gator

"youaregonnahateme",

Don't know where you're getting your information from but it's wrong.

Captain Cooks doesn't advertise on Overture....but some of our affiliates do . Check the links for Aff tags.

As a rule I steer away from pay per click search engines as
a) it competes directly with our affiliates.
b) it ends up pushing up costs for everyone.

We've never advertised on Gator either.
