ugg going to chime in here guys and say WOW!! This is just getting crazy now with rumors don't ya think? Elliott called me today absolutely(no pun intended) stunned at these rumors that were started by a hidden poster commenting on a gossip story on Gam911, it has no merit and is totally just off the wall!

I am sorry but I see this thread as a waste of time because not once has there been any hard core proof to any of the accusations.

I have a lot of good friends chiming in this thread and I respect each and every single one of you on your opinions and would never think to ask you to not voice them but if you cannot back your ass up with proof then maybe you should never open the can.

As far as the CAP community if you don't like them don't go there simple as that. The programs are big kids I think they can handle themselves if they don't want to be a part of that community, there is nothing forcing them. There are plenty of very successful programs not certified and they thrive well, they even attend the conferences and are allowed to have booths there as well. I know there are fights going on and a lot of hate and all I am asking is just listen to advice and try to move. Let's all make some money and get ready for 2009 the year it all bust loose for us all!!

Rakesh your so wise and always have given great advice Freaky thang you!!

Warren/Lou banned both me and RakeVIP. They did it so we wouldn't appear banned as well. I can log in but not post and they reset his password or something so he can't log in. Those guys are total scum. The ban the affiliates that have enough integrity to look past friendships and want answers to the recent issues. I really don't understand those people still over there that think they can do no wrong. They banned a majority of the affiliates over at PAP, mostly for no reason.

They were even making posts under peoples names and changing stuff in their profiles to make them look bad. Even if you don't look at the Cardspike issues this other stuff alone should tell people they are unethical. I can understand some people don't want to get caught up in all this especially if they are not involved and there is no problem there but these people that blindly defend them at every turn bother me. I guess they see some sort of personal gain by sticking with them or something, who knows. Most people are getting back to business now and thats good. Life goes on and CAP never offered any value in my eyes anyway...nothing more than a big banner farm for affiliate programs.

Is this old news, that Fabiano / Jolly's company runs the Absolute Slots affiliate programme? I'm starting to get hazy on what is revelation and what is current knowledge.

This is complete new news to me and rather a shock. I am reserving opinion until we can hear from Absolute.

This was posted at 911 in response to my request for verification (see top of page 11 of this thread):

Effective Media "manages" as they like to put it, both an online poker room and online casino. People only go to these extremes to hide their affiliations when they have done something wrong. Lou and Warren, have sent C&D's, have banned their own members, have banned other respected members in the industry such as Rebecca, deleted threads on their forums, edited threads on their forums, made a video stating they have no relationship whatsoever with CardSpike, recanted their original video with a new one which says they are only working "performance based", created threads themselves explianing their side of the story and locking them so that no discussion could take place. Seriously, who does this? Whether they owned it or not, the very fact that they were closely tied to the cardroom and a casino should raise questions and going to the extent they have to cover up the situation makes it worse.
Assuming "C&D's" are "CDs", this is a marketing device which I've always associated with owners (on the occasions I've given it any thought prior to binning them). I suppose affiliate programmes may well send them as well.

He also says that EM actually CLAIMS to manage these operations, which is news to me unless I missed something.

The comments are anonymous and unverified, but the CD claim is relatively innocuous in itself and likely true, coming as it does in the middle of a number of other true statements, but it suggests a depth of involvement in the operation, even if they were sent from CAP in CAP's role as affiliate manager rather than owner.

You get the impression that the CAP statements about "no ownership interest" were carefully-phrased word games, as there DOES appear to be a substantial interest, ownership or otherwise.

Since i was the one who posted about the paypal invoice , i will ask the question. Why did effective media pay me for elliott/absolute slots?Elliott knows this is true ,I refunded the money back to effective media too.I would just like to hear the explaination.I do have hardcore proof of these transactions.

Where do the legalities stand? Is a US entity (EMG / CAP) allowed to make payments to you on behalf of Cardspike? Can a US entity pay a (US?) citizen on behalf of an operation located in a banana republic? Does the UIGEA not come into this, albeit monumentally badly-worded? This would make YOU the entirely innocent victim of a crime, as the recipient of an unlawful payment.

As such, returning it post-haste was probably a good idea.

Just for clarification , I did not receive any Cardspike money,It was for Absolute slots.I am a Canadian resident and really don't think I am a victim ,I have no bad feelings for Elliott or Absolute Slots.Sometimes things don't work out and we put alot on our reputation in this business which is why we did 100% refund. For his part I know Elliott understood why we did the refund and we have spoken since then.If you know Elliott then you know he is a great person .

I meant "victim" in a legalistic sense, with you as the unwitting recipient of a possibly illegal payment. I didn't mean you had suffered in any way, or that (the equally possibly unwitting) Greg was in any way a knowing accomplice, if such language is appropriate.

It may be legal for a US company to send a Canadian citizen money from an offshore gambling operation. I don't know. I'm just wondering.

Effective Media (Fabiano & Jolly) clearly run the affy programme for Absolute Slots, which is why Casinobonusguy received an AS payment from Effective Media:

    http://www.gpwa.org/affiliateprogram...te.asp?id=8093

That much isn't in any doubt at least. Mr. Whidden would hardly list an Effective Media email address in his Absolute Slots management capacity by accident.

As such, when CAP "cerified" Absolute Slots in September last year, they appear to have certified...themselves?

    http://www.casinoaffiliateprograms.c...er.29614.html?

    How does that work?

Also, on a sidenote, I see that the diatribe that Lou posted against Michael, where Michael was generally defamed and accused, falsely, of criminal activity, has been deleted or removed:
