Since coming back from LAC , I have been very busy looking for the perfect venue for our next event.After visiting Eight Toronto area hotels, Pricing out the venue space and the all important alcohol budget we have found it!

We are going back to Niagara Falls!I know many of you last year expressed concern over the travel time from the airport but there was no way we could provide you guys the same hospitality level in Toronto as we did last year in Niagara Falls.So I put the vote to the programs and said we go to Toronto and cut the alcohol budget or we go to the Falls where we have the same service as last year.

We are making a couple improvements too ,we are going to have live dealers and get some more tables in the games suite.We also have some awesome prizes to give away .We are still working on the speaker line up but for sure you all will be very happy with our selections.

To all the attendees that came last year please email me if you have any suggestions on how we can improve on the event .Yes I do know we need to get single malt scotch and lots of Tonic water but I mean if you have an idea how we can do better I am happy to hear about it!

Also we WILL be arranging shuttles TO the airport on Aug 30 around noon .It will be too crazy to try to sort it all for everyone arriving but there are quite a few of us that will be driving through and can make detours to the airport to meet some flights so as we get closer to the time if you need a ride we will all try to sort it out.
Daera/Lori goes without saying we will be picking you up just this time come for some extra days

It is actually aug 27-aug 30 ,Site is not updated yet ,we are waiting on a few things before we do that.The hotel is the same on the site ,same games room as last year except they have newly decorated it .It will be better than last year for sure.

One thing I am going to put out there now is we had unlimited free alcohol last year -Terry can confirm this hahaha an we took requests.Generally every one handled it well but for Liability issues this year to enjoy that privilege you must be staying in the conference hotel .

Also last year we wasted quite a bit by prepaying breakfast ,this year just show up at the restaurant and join us for breakfast we will gladly put you on our tab .

We are going to add a casino games night , live dealers and great prizes -really great prizes .If anyone has any suggestions please just put them out there as this is our weekend .
We have quite a few new affiliates joining us this year so should be a great weekend.

As I live close by do I get (almost) unlimited drinks if i take a cab???

There will be two colors of cards to present bartender , one is unlimited which indicated you are guest of hotel ,the other has a limit of drinks.In Canada the host can be held liable in court if you serve somebody too many drinks and they go out and get killed.Actually in 2008 the Hilton had a situation where a guest of a wedding got hammered and fell through a glass window or door ,he sued the hotel and the bride and groom and won which is WHY we have these limits in place now.Having said that ,the bartender follows guide lines and cannot serve intoxicated people , Generally people know their own limits but there will always be that one who gets pissed out of their mind and makes an ass of themselves ,try not to be that one

Yes everything is at the Hilton , we have conference room plus the private games room on the 7th floor for entire weekend.We are providing most meals all weekend but of course you are welcome to do your own thing too.Sunday we are allowing some free time for site seeing and we will be trying to wrap up Friday and Sunday night by midnight so still a bit of time to go to casino before bed .Brightshare has confirmed today they are coming , Marcia and Shelley will be joining us.

We are interviewing some great SEO speakers now and one thing we have in our criteria is that all presentation materials will be provided as a download link when you all get home.I am looking for somebody who is going to take Q &A on assumption most of you have passed the SEO 101 .But not to lose the beginners we will provide you with many resources to take home .

I have not found the perfect person YET ,I am hoping to find one that can give us some webinar sessions after the event and will give us a GROUP discount on services .
One of our sponsors is trying to bring a couple Professional Poker players and hopefully we will get some Poker tips from them.

Another thing we were thinking is to add an Accountant and Lawyer to the list of speakers , would that interest any of you?I don't want you all sitting bored so please give us feedback

this sounds as though it will be very useful. My only regret is that I didnt know about this last year! I am really looking forward to meeting likeminded affiliates and SEOs.

The reason we don't want others falling over is we have our hands full with Terry's wife lol.Yes it will be great ,the best part for us of course is making our local network stronger.We do lunches a couple times a year just to stay in touch ,we have a small tight group of people here and always like bouncing things off eachother.
Next winter we will definitely do the niagara falls weekend getaway , this winter was so busy and my husband and i just celebreated our 25th year together this month.We didn't even get time for that
