    if you change the content of your website, you could change immediatly position ( or you change position after one long period ? )

    At minimum the placement/ranking impact of the content change will be determined by how long it takes for the search engine to spider your page. If you update content regularly I think the search engines are likely to observe this pattern over time and spider the site more regularly vs. if you update only occassionally the spiders won't think they need to visit as often and the effect will take long.

    I'm not sure if there is any delay in the impact of the content after the new content is noticed by the spiders.
