    Changing links again

It seems almost every month there are banner links to change due to new stats programs etc. I don't have a program that changes links throughout my sites. I imagine there are many of us that don't.

The constant link changes really takes it's toll on my time and I always miss some.

How does everyone handle the link changes?

Well, if you're doing the links manually on each creative and you do not have a database program or are using one of the other methods then the best thing to do is learn how to best use search and replace in whatever web editor you use such as front page or dreamweaver, or get something that will handle it like editplus.

I like editplus because it will always create a backup of any documment it changes.

I use fastclick on almost all of my sites and any that I don't will be migrated to fastclick as I perform updates and rebuiilds on them.

This allows me to log into the database and change the link once and it is fixed sitewide.

Mojo, if you ever want to switch to something like this, let me know and I can help you change over.

One program that is good for mass search and replace is Notepad++

Just a side note, I have added links a little while ago into the casino linking codes that will autoupdate if we ever need to update our links for whatever reason, so once you start using them you wont have to change links again on our side - we will do it for you.

    Cheers
