Nope

Mihai manages affiliates of his own. Point is though that it was pretty obvious that none of the respondents signed up to receive mail. If that is the case, then the mail is unsolicited. If for example you have a links page and say "mail me for link exchanges" then you must expect to receive those type of mails. If your webmaster page says "mail me for advertising offers", then expect those mails. What happened here though was that everyone received a mailer. Those who wanted it, those who asked for it, those who didn't ask for it, and even those who couldn't even use it.

Send out mailers like these and I know more than a few affiliates who bookmark to NEVER promote that program. Scary? It's true.

The point? Unless you request to receive promotional mailers, then I believe you are being spammed. If every affiliate based organisation in the world got a hold of "Jimmythehands" e-mail address and mailed him simultaneously, you would think you were under attack. LOL

There has to be some standards or else your inbox will really really keep you far away from completing your work.

You have an obvious interest in marketing casino affiliate programs so surely someone offering a casino affiliate program is well within their rights to email you.
This reasoning is false. If I see a player in a gambling forum who has their email address in their profile, does that give me the right to spam them since they are oviously interested in gambling? I don't think so. Any commercial email that is not solicited is spam.

Reading these threads throughout the forum is certainly helpful to a "newer" member of GPWA like myself.

Lots to learn...
