    Contacted By Warren

I was contacted yesterday by Warren and kindly requested that I remove these two articles from my site:

    xxxwww.casinosandplayersonline.com/rogue-blacklist/CAP-Casino_Affiliate_Programs-Blacklisted.html

    [2]
    xxxwww.casinosandplayersonline.com/rogue-blacklist/CAP-Rogued-then-Blacklisted-Did-Warren-Joly-Have-A-Plan.html

I was wondering if anyone else here has been contacted by Warren, and
if so, or not, what are your thoughts on it.

    Exactly.

The truth is what it is, by removing the article, you are more or less condoning all the BS, stealing and lies from the past. What happened to countless affiliates should not be forgotten. If I had an article I would not remove it. As long as it is factual and precise.

He sure as hell had no problems scamming and lying to the masses. If you choose to take the route that he took, you should be willing to face the consequences.

    Let the truth stay published!

What a great way to celebrate my birthday!

All jokes aside, I expected this post to happen. I did reach out to a few people that had articles posted relating to the nightmare from earlier this year. Most of these people know me personally and realized that I am truly not out to damage anyone and just made a huge mistake. Some deleted the articles, others have edited out my full name. I've apologized in public, learned from my mistakes, and vowed to never put myself in another situation like this in my entire career.

The fact is, I would like to be able to move on, not erase the past. Surely we have all made certain actions that we end up regretting.

No way keep them in place. The aftershocks from CAP Mountain exploding are still being felt.

    BTW: Happy Birthday Warren.

    Happy Birthday Warren

Guy has apologised and accepted he made mistakes, not sure it would do too much harm to at least think about it.

I understadn why people are still angry, maybe a statement at the bottom saying your keeping the article up but Warren has apologised etc.

I dont really know, but i believe in 2nd chances if the contrition is real.

I certainly share the same opinion so maybe keep the article up with warren's apology? I too believe in second chances where as his former partner does not.

Yes, Warren has since acknowledged that he made a mistake and has
apologized, for that fact, I commend him for finally doing so.

Second chances, yes, we all need them, but in my opinion, facts about
an issue that affects many people should not be covered up, time
    will take care of that.

I have made mistakes, corrected them, made my statement(s),
then went on. Never asked for the information to be removed or edited.
    Fact is, I made them.

And, as a practical matter, the search results will become more and
more obscure as time goes by, as will emails and verbal conversations
    about mistakes people make.

Is adding a line stating that he apologises etc covering it up?

But anyway this is an individual decision and i am sure Warren, as i do, respects your right to leave it as it is,.

No, adding a line about the apology or a link to it, is not a cover up.

I'll need to check for a link to his apology, and I will place it on the article(s).

One thing was pointed out to me in one of the articles that may be false, I'm going to recheck, and if so, I'll remove that part, and will apology to
    Warren.

    Hi All,

    I haven't voted because:
    1. I ended my posting days at CAP 2 or 3 years ago.
    2. I was never involved in this fiasco.
    3. I don't promote nor follow poker so I really hold no understanding of the matter.
On those points & the fact I don't know Warren.

However I know of his previous partner all too well.

On the up side eventually this will all fade into obscurity - no disrespect meant to those who suffered over these events.

My view (again without knowing the guy) is Warren for whatever reason may have walked into this agreement with his former partner, not having his eyes wide open. Big mistake!

I dare say given the history of the "other person", there are not too many people in this industry who don't know what the other person is capable of.

Reiterating I agree wrong choices were made and Warren has been man enough to drop the ego and admit his shortcomings on these events.

I will say however IMHO, in this case, by posting this to a thread and running a poll, indicates to me that jinnia may not be sure which way to go on this.

Should the pages remain, again I can't answer that. That question is only one in my view that should be answered by the owner of the site who has these page(s) displayed.

    Cheers

    Dave

The pages remains, but I have removed a bit of the information that Warren
pointed out to me that was false. And changed the title and url, but not in the way that was asked of me.

For the false I had in the article, I apologize to Warren!!

Well done. As I said before, "if it is fact based". By removing any inaccuracies it enhances your integrity.

I am the first person to stand up and say how bad Lou's behavior was... and I have many many times.

However... Lou was not the one making most of the business decisions at CAP, Warren was.

I think the idea that all the bad stuff is now being put on Lou.. is not fair.

In many ways Warren is far more responsible for the Crap at CAP than Lou.

That would be incorrect. Warren was Lou's protege, he was very young when he joined CAP.

If he was not making most of the business decisions how come he controlled the money, made the deals and now has ownership? Wasn't Warren totally responsible for cardspike?

I don't want to start another fight here. But the idea Warren was young and foolish and led astray by Lou is laughable.

I think any of the casino managers that have dealt with him can testify to that.
