    Criteria for Online Casinos

    Good Day All,

Before starting with any casino review there are certain criteria we have a look at. Just to name a few from the top of my head:

    1. Reasonable wagering requirements for their sign up bonuses/table games. We tend to avoid online casinos that have excessive wagering requirements for example if they are 40xd+b amount.
    2. Are the casinos licensed in reputable gambling jurisdictions (white listed)?
    3. Have they been certified by eCOGRA, AGD, GPWA or CAP?
    4. Software provider that powers the casino's gaming platform.
    5. How long has the casino been in operation (Age).
    6. Does it have a self-exclusion option available to those players who tend to wager above their financial means.

It would be interesting to hear which criteria you use before you start with a casino's review.

    Thanks.

Would be curious to hear how many affiliates actually make a deposit, wager, and try to cash out to see what the experience is from a customer service perspective before writing a review. I know at least a few vets who won't promote any casino that doesn't have a clean, fast cashout process.

    Hi Cass,

I have some affiliates that like to add the following to their reviews:

    1) Available languages.
    2) Blocked countries.
    3) Deposit methods available.
    4) A personal comment from the affiliate.
    5) Other promotion available, such as refer a friend, VIP program

    Regards,

Perhaps currencies -- can the player play in their preferred currency, or are player funds converted to USD?

Thanks for all your input especially from Louis and Maria (affiliate managers).

In my opinion the ideal casino review incorporates a combination of factors like wagering requirements, gambling jurisdictions, certification, player comments, software providers, promotions offered and so forth. Where possible one must also try and do away with all the fluff and write the casino review as objective as possible.

If by "peers" you mean fellow affiliates then yes, does the brand have a good record dealing with affiliates, and with fair affiliates specifically. It's a sign of how they handle business: if they f--- over affiliates then they will certainly do the same to their customers.

Also, if your reviews are directed for a local readership, say in specific country or speakers of certain language, then what language the casino supports and what languages the customer service speaks.

As the non-English market aff I pay attention foremost to the localization of the casino (assuming most of gamblers believe in luck, not in education, hence poor language skills...).
I check the quality of website translation (bugs or poor translation can ruin the trust in a brand), native speaking CS, translation of software, local deposit options, help resources, instructions, etc. Also local touch to the promo activities is important.
So all in all, I just focus on Polish-speaking and Polish-managed programs. The others simply don't convert - a rule some AMs have problems believing in
