    Dear Referback

I just wanted to let you know that I have been trying for 2 days to get some good marketing material and there seems to be a lot of errors when trying to find certain products.

Please don't take this the wrong way but take it as constructive critisism , Your affiliate program format is just plain blah imo and here is why.

Getting a banner seems a little too complicated compared to other programs. Too many things you need to click to find what you want. The Iframe format has to go because they are horrible and many firefox users don't even see iframes because they are blocked. I can update my own banners and I don't need an Iframe so you can do it for me. You also have a jackpot city uk no deposit bonus that you can not even get a link for as well as links for other casinos.

Referbacks rule of one affiliate gets all the sign ups for all the casinos is just crazy. What if you release a new casino? who gets credit? Your casinos are way too old to have such a rule and I hate advertising you guys for that one reason. Why bother promoting one casino when a player may have an account at another of referbacks casinos in which they signed up at 20 years ago under a different affiliate. I dont get anything. Its great if a players doesnt have any casino accounts but as I stated above your casinos are a little old for thinking there are many players out there that have not tried at least one of your casinos.

One good thing I will say is the affiliate managers I have worked with like shane, Tarryn and Gareth have been excellent however this is not about being nice or helpful, This is about having a program that is comparable to other programs in quality and right now I do not believe referback is as good as they were a year ago.

    Thank you
    Until we meet again.

Also, there is a lack of variety in the inventory.

Example, I just tried to get a 468x60 banner for Lucky Nugget (UK£) and couldn't find even one.

    Hi pumacat,

Firstly, please accept my apologies for the late reply.

Thanks for the feedback - of course, we take it as constructive feedback as, this way, we know what our affiliates want and where the gap is.

The Media Library (amongst other things) was built around a survey we did to all our affiliates a few years ago.
Keep in mind that the Referback website is far from 100% complete. They are currently looking at ways to improve the Media Library (of course, your input is always welcome) as well as the reports and other sections of the site. So yes, we are not trying to build Rome in a year, but I personally think we are off to a good start.

As for the no-deposit offer for the UK, this expired a few weeks back and we have replaced these banners with the match offer. This is one of the reasons dynamically served banners work as well - when an offer expire, you don't need to do anything, we will change the banner for you.
Thanks for the feedback on the iframes - I will send that to the developers to see if there's a better way to implement this.

As far as the rule goes: this was introduced in 2004 and does have some advantages as well. I will however address your concerns with management.

FictionNet - I have spent all of last week going through the entire Media Library to take inventory of all creative material we have. We'll be adding some new banners shortly. Thanks for the feedback.

    Thanks
    Cobus

    We hear you

    Hi there Puma,

As you know we are reticent to talk about new developments until we have a set timeline for roll out but all the items you listed are currently under revision - from the banner serving system to the way we assign player ownership.

In the short term we will be adding links to the brands coded with your affiliate id on the dashboard so you can do direct links to any banners/images you choose to save from the media library.

Cobus is spot on using a building analogy - we are in the process of redefinding how many of our back end systems work, as well as the front end, and while we're in the plaster and dust phase it is admittedly a little rough.

Ulitmately though our goal is a program that allows for deeper reporting, geo-targeted banner serving (of which version 1 is currently available under the Ad Serving link), the ability to AB test multiple banners in one location (with the ability to determine which banners get served more based on criteria you preset) and more meaningful outbound contacts (more on this in the time ahead)... our goal "Friction Free Affiliate Marketing"... let the systems work for you & in a way you want them to.

Thanks for the support and the straight talk.

    Shane

PS - I would like to touch on the FF users and iFrames, our developers work from FF and other standards compliant browsers backwards. For this reason any screenshots you could send to show us how it's breaking or not displaying would be invaluable to the team.

    Hi FictionNet,

You're correct our stocks are limited, we went through a phase of producing many multi currency banners (you know one banner rotating all the currencies) however now that we've built in ad serving v1, and as our understanding of the markets has improved we're working on ensuring regionalised creative to compliment our partner casinos regionalised pages.

Some examples of regionalised (sic localised) pages:
    http://www.jackpotcity.com/nl/ (Dutch)
    http://www.jackpotcity.com/ca/ (Canada)
    http://www.jackpotcity.com/au/ (Australia)
    http://www.jackpotcity.com/de/ (German)
    http://www.jackpotcity.com/pt/ (Portuguese)

We have creative sets for all these pages and more and will be uploading them shortly.

We will be sure to post updates on new creative on GPWA to help keep you informed as we grow our tool box across languages & currencies.
