    Displaying currencies

    When displaying bonuses, what is the best way of getting around the way sites handle currencies differently? Specifically, some sites make their bonuses a currency equivalent - £100, $150 & €110 whilst others will use the same number and the value of the bonus will vary with each different currency - £100, $100 & €100.

    Obviously if your sites target a specific economic region, or have a large proportion of traffic coming from a specific region then it is easy to list the currency of that region (eg: targetting US, show the $ value).

    So for sites with a more varied visitor base, is it better to:

    * Choose one currency as a master currency and list everything in that currency to give consistency and the ability to compare between bonuses - eg: everything in $

    * Show major currencies together - eg: £100 / €100 / $100

    * Assign each site to a currency and show a variety of $, £ and €. The disadvantage of this is the lack of direct comparison for users.

    Since my traffic is coming from all over the world I realized the best thing to do is;

    Show major currencies together - eg: £100 / €100 / $100

    However, it really depends on your targeted market; bet2win has diverse traffic from all over the world I show all currencies.
    Kladionicasport is on Croatian so I show Euros. For UK targeted market it is £ only.

    I use banners in either US dollars (preferred) or British Pounds (if no US banner is available).

    In my reviews, I often list all the currencies available so the player knows at a glance whether he can play in his local currency or not.

    Edited to add - I voted for the first option but actually incorporate both option 1 and option 4 into my sites.

    Most of my traffic is UK based so I tend to stick with UK £ where available. I will use others if I need to though. I'd really like to see the affiliate programs offering more in the way of geo-targetted banners.

    I hear that! It's a shame there is no level of consistency between the big programs.

    Usually depends on which market I am targeting.
