Do other members of your family work in your affiliate business?

Most affiliates are running their own small business. And many small businesses are family affairs. How about you? Do other members of your family help out with your affiliate business? If they do, share with us the focus of different family members.

My wife says we'd kill each other if we worked together! If we ever did do anything together it would be mainstream/non-igaming.

My brothers gf is on the lookout for work, I've considered offering her some pt writing or admin but again it's more likely to be in the non-igaming of the business.

    Interesting question!

My younger brother works for my affiliate company (not Castle), he was my first employee as far as the portals go!

My girlfriend has tried to wriggle in several hundred times, I tell her that until she can knock up a good sandwich she isn't going near any of my sites!

My wife and have been working together in the business we founded for over twenty years, and I think my wife would agree with yours. Seriously, there have been times we have worked very well together for extended periods of time, but there are also times when she recognizes, generally well before I do, that it is time for a break from each other for at least the working hours of each day.

The family member most folks know here best is my son, Steven, who goes by CityGuard in the forums. In addition, my son Bryan has worked here full-time for several years now as well, and my sister, Carol, has worked with us for over a decade.

My other half works with us here, although I met him while he was working for someone else.

When he first started we were sitting about 5 metres away from each other. That was for the better part of a year. Then we moved offices and are on separate floors now. We don't easily get irritated with each other which is positive so it hasn't caused any issues for us and hopefully wont.

I'd love to get help from my family but they're mostly too thick.

I'm pretty much open to anyone within the family joining in, whether as a share of site or help them setting up their own site, still hoping for an epic coder to emerge

You may get into more 'disagreements' with family members but there's a level of trust there you just can't get with others. I've just realised while writing this that even when I was a teenager I've never worked for anyone but family or very good friends of my parents (kinda family).

My hubby and myself started the business together about 11 years ago and sit next to each other with one empty computer space in the middle so that we can't hit each other We actually work well together though and tend to operate different parts of the business so we don't come to loggerheads too much ....except when he registers new domains!!!
We work from a home office but our main offices are based in the house next door which we bought about 3 years ago.
My eldest son is the Office Manager and my Father in law does our budgets, stats etc.
My best friend is my personal assistant and then we have a handful of non related web designers, I.T people etc.
