Do You Manage Your Own Sites?

I know many of you have multiple sites running and I can hardly find enough time to run one let alone what others do. Curious as to how you manage it. If you do all of the tasks yourself or if you out source some or all of the work load?

I can understand many being in a financial position to outsource the majority of it but I thought it would be interesting to see the numbers.

If you do reply could you be so kind as to say how many sites you have on the go?

Haven’t worked on my site for quite sometime. But when I was all work was performed by myself. If I must say I have four sites, One gambling portal and 3 Internet based application sites.

BTW: Earnings from my gambling portal $0.00 over 2.5 years.

I've done everything myself in the past...

Though, now I'm starting to out-source.

$ is time, time is $, so I'm far better out-sourcing work that others can do quickly and professionally, instead of break my ass doing it myself.

Its taken me close to 10 years to figure that equation out...

I pretty much do everything myself although I have started to outsource bits of work, mainly some writing and design work, now to keep me sane.

I'd be interested to hear what kind of work people are outsourcing.

My first out source to the shape of a ajax forum being ported to my site template. I've also recently had that site template graphics out-sourced too.

I just figure the learning curve with porting stuff over can sometimes take weeks, even then it sometimes doesn't gel. Instead of getting stressed out it was easier to pay someone to do it for me.

Plus I know stuff all about Ajax...As for the graphics they look far better than I could ever do.

i outsource work for my lesser important sites. but my main sites i like to work on myself so they don't get messed up

I can't imagine me outsourcing anything I do on my sites, since I like doing them, and I try to keep it simple.

I have two active gambling sites, also I have two other sites in different industries.

It all keeps me very busy, adding content, tweaking content and design, and marketing the sites.

This question is a bit tricky for me... I'm a very hands on type person - I have a hard time letting go and giving anyone else the ability to do much without it going through me.

So, I've started to outsource some article generation as well as any graphics work I need to do. However, I read through everything and do the integration into my website myself. I have just had to accept I cannot do everything myself.

I have two sites, but only one actively being built up.

I outsource the graphics and the html source... Once a template is created, I add the content needed (sometimes php, database generated) and it's simple.

I wish I could find good people to outsource the image gathering and content writing to.. I just haven't found many who are good at it.. Besides myself, of course hahaha... ok, I exaggerate

I am just picky.
