Hi everyone

Hi Mike,
I don't offer them on my affiliate sites, however if they are available I make it very clear the player can trial the games and give them a direct affiliate link.
I think of it like this, if the player trials the games on your site and likes them. One week later when they want to deposit the chances are they will go directly to the operator and skip you out. If you provide them a link to the demo games then they get the same benefits but your tracking code is always there.
That being said there is pros to having them on your site, they may remember your brand more, recommend a friend to your site or even link to it. I don't think this outweighs the potential of missing out on players though.
Cheers,
Dave

They do potentially make for good link bait, I guess if you're pushing for social style marketing they would be very useful aswell, you could always put a limiter on freeplay and then have them sign up to a newsletter or something like that too. But like Dave said there are some cons.
Maybe you should test 2 sites, do things the same, one with one without and let us know what happens.
You are right about the social style marketing, people love free games and this can benefit your site ranking I guess. But looking through the players eyes people always search for a particular game and theme they like to play. At first I was a bit sceptical about free games, but now we are working on a free games section and to add more value we included social media buttons. I was wondering what are the advantages of having mixed software free games, but once the new section is up I will be able to test and see if it adds more positiveness.
cheers
Mike
I offer free games on a few of my sites.
If you are looking for a good source of free games may I suggest the games from Affiliate Edge....(RTG)
They are easy to impliment and customize. The games have a timeout period which you can set for the visitor/player to get a popup reminding them to visit the casino to continue to play or to play for real.
A simple page refresh allows them to start the game (and timeout period) again.
Sub-affiliate link available if you are not already an affiliate of theirs.
If you need games from other providers such as Playtech you can get them from William Hill or Wager Junction (possibly others) which are fairly easy to use however do not offer near as much customization as those from AE.

If an affiliate program is not small affiliate friendly (especially small US Affiliate), then they are NOT Affiliate Friendly!

Free games is really how my site ever made it off the ground. Back then it was " Games in a Can " but now I use "Gameinsert". They offer free games and chat for your visitor. You can also plug ads in for any casino you choose and collect email ady's. Pretty good deal and only cost a homepage link in return.

Free Games are pretty much a must, or a near must. Players love them and it's a service you can set up for your set's visitors to try them - for free - before clicking through to any brand. Why not provide them with that?
And clearly, they have value in enriching your content - with pages, with graphics, with entertainment, etc.![]()
Free games have come a lot more highly recommended than I thought they would, I've made a note in my calender to re-consider my stance!

My site freecasinodosh.com is new, but I also have free games on there, and roughly 30% of the visitors go there.

Have just added a few THOUSANDS free casino games (reviews, previews, and links to free mode casino games) to our Canadian site:

Tell me how it looks, thanks
My whole website is dedicated to free slots, and I can say it definitely helps keeping users on the page. As a result my overall bounce rate is quite low.
Just bumping this thread to find out which affiliate Programs offer good free flash games, Mainly Slot Games.
I have seen few nice games in http://www.netent.com/ and wondering from where to get those games, through which Affliate Programs, if anyone know.
Thanks
Hi there,
I know its not Netentertainment, but Playtech has some nice video slot games too.
Some can be found at : Wagerjunction, including some marvel ones.
Good luck.

Free Games are great if combined with content and links to the relevant casinos.
Players want to be able to try games before they spend their money on them so why not offer it instead?
Whilst 'play for free' players aren't the best (the ones that search for those terms), you do get some depositors and ultimately revenues.
Alternatively, try 2 methods - one with a free game and one with a video you've done on the game - see which works best![]()
for seo its great i believe but for converting visits to players i believe is bad
I disagree - I've spoken to many affiliates who have seen great players come from free games. I think it depends on who you're targetting and how you sell it afterwards.
ok.. but is it a must to have a link on the game or/and the site where the game is to direct visitors to an affiliate casino site?
You don't have to with most free games because the casino already does it for you. Once the players have played the free games for a few minutes the screen will pop up a registration option. AffiliateEdge has the most configurable options I've seen for free games and 7Red offers the BetSoft 3D free games which are pretty amazing.
