And has used member portal directory to visit the websites and hit up the contact us page. My jink filter will save me from more of his mails but this senseless spam posting has to end.

When i started my first website (with zero experience) i went out of my way to get loads (and i mean 100-150) of reciprocal links to my website. It took many, many late nights sending emails.
I think it was the main reason i got noticed quickly for SERPS. But the MAIN simple reason i have now got to Page One on google for all my keywords is the fact that i add four original stories a day, and the rule is "ORIGINAL CONTENT IS KING". For the first time last week i wrote down how many links i had to my website (according to yahoo it was it was 362) and 7 days later is is it 397.
This is purely from other sites picking up my (preferably controversial) articles.
I am in a market where that works, but i know that once i stop writing i will lose all those new links in the drop of a (black) hat!
I now have a new website, and i haven't searched for links, but i am now up to Page Two purely on original content. If it keeps going i will assume that content is more important than links.
I'm sorry for such a long ramble, but that is my view at the moment
    Cheers

I agree 100%. I have practically stopped going for links. It has not affected my SERPs and I don't care for the PR value which is more like voodoo anyway.

By the way, my compliments to patmcluk for writing 4 original stories a day. I don't even manage one.

If you had taken the time to read the post, Pat was saying "content is King" and is not looking to trade links for that site.

Why is it that every thread has to turn into a 'link exchange' spam fest? BTW - That's your second one in this thread alone.

Have you got sign ups from using it? From what many AMs tell me, PPC does not work at all... ZERO sign ups.. can you prove otherwise?

    Cheers

Well ok the traffic is not huge like google and having one advert with one keyword for sure it will not drive into your website ANY traffic , but using it correctly for example having multiple adverts with many keywords it can drive in to your website quality target traffic with very litle budget! for exactly an aprox estimation for me is around 500-600 Targeted visitors for every $15 , but with many keywords and many ads. For me i confirm is working perfectly even on target urls and affiliate codes.

I took a look at their terms and one of the publisher terms turned me off.
Clicks on ads must not result in a new browser window being launched.
I saw nothing in their terms about gaming or porn (not that I advertise that but was curious as to what they allow by policy), but they do restrict drugs and alcohol.

If an affiliate program is not small affiliate friendly (especially small US Affiliate), then they are NOT Affiliate Friendly!

Using a pay-per-click is different from buying links.

When using most pay-per-clicks you will usually get no link benefit, you use them to buy traffic.

    Hey Everyone,
I will say that buying ppc for online casinos is a waste of money these days. The sites like 7search and even Yahoo UK run up click charges with no return on investment. Back in the day I ppc was great for building up a player base. Speedy Ads is also a waste of time after testing it several times over the past. Mostly click bots and ppc theft. I am not buying anymore of this crap. I am just going to do seo.

I agree that Pay Per Click is not a solution to run a succesfully Gambling website . SEO it s indeed the 1st thing that a webmaster should do and not count on Pay Per Click Services.

Pay Per Click it is something you want to run as a site dish to give that extra flavour to the food if you understand what i mean and personally am happy from what ENTIREWEB is offering me for just that extra site kick but defnitately not a solution and not something you have to count on!

I never bought any links... The reason is because you can't be 100% sure that if you buy the link it will affect your web-site in a good way...
