Does yandex.ru have any potential?

My few sites start to rank on top for some very competitve keywords (which could make me a millionaire in a month if it happens on google.) I can't track them very good as i use the same statcounter code on my sites. Also the sites themselves aren't targeting russian visitors.

Do you think is it worth to put Russia targeted banners,casinos,reviews, etc. and focus on monitezing its traffic?

To me the site appears to appeal to a much more general audience and therefore although you may get a little traffic for casinos you may well do better with more general based advertising.

Also, it appears that most links go somewhere else...to different sub domains.

Hi universal. Thanks for opinions. Although I would like to own yandex.ru, it's not mine. It is the biggest search engine/portal in Russia as far as I know.

Any opinions about Russian gambling market and about yandex.ru ?

I don't understand what you are asking then and what it has to do with yandex?

Are you considering advertising on there?

Do they even accept gambling advertising?

Do you have traffic for English words? Yandex launched worldwide search recently, but I doubt it will be of use for non-Russian webmasters.
I doubt it will be profitable to put too much extra efforts. But if you can put some Russia-friendly casinos (some of Microgaming or PlayTech, but not RTG) and geo-targeted banners it wouldn't be bad .
