Default Dutch Authorities have an agenda...

There is a player in everybody

    youtube.com/watch?v=tBobvvTNlgc …

For three years all signals were pretty clear but on the 30th of May 2017 confirmation was sent out. The Dutch Gaming Authority (KSA) has only one goal; destroy the online gaming market in the Netherlands.

For years genuine operators and their marketing partners have tried everything in their power to contribute to a healthy and safe gaming environment and with success!

Holland in 2017 is probably one of the safest places in the world for players that like to gamble every once in a while. And all credits go to the operators and their partners that contributed to this. Here is what we had in Holland till the 1st of June 2017:

    • 70-80% of the offering online consists of EU-licensed operators (some of them public companies) that provide EU certified games, apply business ethics which are leading in the world and conduct high moral standards.
    • Every player is fully registered and verified, history of game play is stored and all financial transactions are monitored, checked, double checked and stored for future reference.
    • Operators supply full control over gaming and deposit limits to their players, which can assist them with keeping control of their gaming behavior.
    • Most of the operators work with partners that voluntarily choose NOT to work with uncertified, unlicensed operators.

In the past years licensed operators, certified game suppliers, reliable PSP’s and marketing partners worked hard to contribute and prepare for a regulated gaming environment in the Netherlands. Not because the KSA dictated so but because the genuine operators in the, only 30 year old, gaming industry realized that the only way forward for a long term sustainable business is protecting and respecting their clientele, the player.

    Until today….

With the destructive policy applied by the Dutch Gaming Authority in the past years, and more specifically the announcement of the 30th of May 2017, genuine licensed operators are forced to close their business and players are thrown back in to the hands of unlicensed and uncertified rogue operators.

All of this because the Dutch Gaming Authority claims they…. “want to protect the players”

The online industry is lightyears ahead of the protected offline industry and should not accept their business to be closed down on false claims and shady political motivated decisions.

They should stand their ground and take action!

We have read that they are considering blocking IDEAL payments which are about 90% of the Dutch online payments in general. Also, the KSA wants to ban all Dutch named casino's. Sadly, we have received several emails from Dutch named casino's which are forced to change their name in order to keep in business.

Interesting that they're to fine organizations wherever in the world that promote online gambling and use 'Dutch symbols' (e.g. windmills). Wonder how that will fare in court.
