Default EcoCard

I registered an EcoCard account, have been depositing and withdrawing at a couple of casinos, using the fundsfrom an affiliate payment that was deposited into it. I executed a withdrawal request, second business day it was paid out. It first goes to Danske Bank, and from there it takes approx. 5 business days to move into your personal checking.

A lot of people are posting you have to make a deposit into the EcoCard account before using it. That is not true! I've not once made a deposit into mine.
You will not be able to see the 'withdraw' page until you set up a payment/withdraw/deposit means.

I've been using EcoCard with no problems, and they answer emails within 3 or 4 hours.

I also used Ecocard from an affiliate payment that I had deposited into the account. I haven't made a withdrawal with it yet though. But I think the problem most US customers are finding with Ecocard is the fact that it does not offer any convenient deposit methods for US customers. I believe (but don't quote me) that the only method available to US customers to deposit money into your Ecocard account is through a wire transfer that you have to initiate through your bank. Other than that, it works just fine. The only thing about making a wire transfer is that you get charged by your bank (BOA charges about $25 for wire transfers) and I don't know if there is a charge from Ecocard for the transfer. So unless you are going to make a substantial wire transfer it is not worth it. I just wish they would come up with easier methods to deposit like EFT/ACH.

Epassporte was working great and had fast and simple deposit methods, but they are withdrawing from the online gambling business and have already done so with the few casinos and bingo rooms that used them. I'm not sure if they have withdrawn from the poker rooms yet. I read in another post here that they were still working at a poker room. I just talked to support from Wordwide Vegas and they told me that Epassporte had pulled out last week and they are no longer available as an option. I had the same problem at Bingo Mania with them also, just made a couple of purchases there last week and now they are no longer an option.

I'm logged into my EcoCard account now, depositing means for US citizens are:
  1. Bank Deposit
  2. MoneyGram
  3. Western Union
It goes into Fortis Bank, from there into your EcoCard account, it takes 1 to 4 business days for funds to be available.

Depositing Information

Important information for making bank depositsIn order to make a bank deposit, please select the location of your bank, and the currency of your account. The appropriate bank details will then be displayed. You will need to give instructions to your bank to make a bank transfer to the illustrated account, either using your Internet banking facility, over the telephone, or in your bank's branch.
Please be sure to include your unique 10 digit Account Number as a reference, in order that we can identify your deposit. Your funds may take anything from 1 to 4 working days to appear in your EcoCard account. This is because of the clearing cycle of your bank and is beyond our control.

So it appears you do need to make contact with your bank..

I recieved the withdrawal into my personal checking today, 4 working days in total.
EcoCard charged $10, and the bank the went through charged me $20. A bit steep,
but if no other means for receiving your money, it will have to do.

Help me out here, I have Eco also for affiliate payments but haven't used it to withdraw yet.

Don't laugh "well I guess you can if you want to" When setting up your bank info what goes in the slot with the word "SWIFT"? Did you need to get a code from your bank to enter in that info slot or did you use your banks routing # from your personal checks?

So many different names....routing #, Swift, ABA, whats what and which to use so your money gets to ya...

I put my bank's routing number in the SWIFT field. So far, all of my EcoCard withdrawals have come through without any problems.

If you're unsure what goes where, I would suggest contacting your Bank. When I set up my first e-wallet account, I went to my Bank and asked them in person for a print-out of the information that would be required. It includes all the necessary numbers and names, plus their labels - Name, Address, ABA/IBA, Routing#, etc... This has come in very handy on several occasinos
