now posting this, i see in this messagebox neither.

Have you tried this: click "my account" and at the lower left corner it says "edit signature", you can edit there and hit "save" after you're done editing.

but being there you should be able to switch the editor mode to html /bb code
and that button is not working, neither in FF and IE

I reported this issue to our technical staff. They are looking into it.
I asked about it today. It has not been fixed yet. There are a few GPWA areas needing work/corrections done and this is one of them. It is on the list. As soon as I get word it's been updated, I'll post it here. Sorry they haven't had a chance to get to it yet.
