EuroGrand spam is being sent out...

I have received a HTML spam email, it links to:
    serve.eurogrand.com/promoRedirect?member=johnkrash&campaign=DEFAULT&channel=DEFAULT&zone=1472407205&lp=1471990545

It came from andersonu59@def6.com and was sent to one of my non-gaming website contact addresses. I e-mailed the spammer back at the sender's address but to no surprise, it bounced. The spammer is sending from a fake address.

I am sending a copy of the spam now to support@affutd.com - please deal with this spammer.

    Thanks.

Grrrr..... this clown has been busy! I'm receiving the same EuroGrand spam at my music sites, gaming sites, book sites, health sites, etc.

Please kick this unethical moron before he does any more damage. Hopefully we can identify this slime if he appears at LAC - I'd like to introduce my fist to this idiot's face. He's sending thousands of spam mails out (possibly millions, I'm not getting them all) and he's sending them all from multiple, fake e-mail addresses.

It doesn't matter whether the url is posted directly into the spam, or hidden behind another redirect, affiliates are often fairly resourceful and can usually figure out the affiliate link.

    Spam hurts everyone.

First since many spammers pretend to represent the casino directly (they fraudulently represent themselves as acting in an official capacity) they make the brand look like they use spam to market themselves.

They make other affiliates look bad since many recipients get aggrivated from the volume of gambling spam and they start to assume that all affiliates are spammers.

In fact, it does matter as it shows that this affiliate is unlikely to 'spam professionally'. Including your naked aff links & tracker shows that he isn't about to have any real idea of how to do mailing / acquire customers. Just imagine the avg. customer, will he click on the URL with affid=jkfdskljdfkljfsdkljfsdalkjölkf or rather on 'goplaynow.com' ?

And yes, spam definately hurts every affiliate!

Any news on what happened here? I've received nothing more from this person, which hopefully means he's been booted.

    cb24,

In my opinion it doesn't matter, and in fact the spammer that hides the affiliate links behinbd redirects etc usually does waay more damage than an unknowing affiliate thinking he can just drop a link in a purchased mailing or a mailing they did theirself with a purchased list....

Reguardless we all agree it damages the industry as a whole....
