    Exciting news from Referback

Referback has made a move to ensure that we are able to offer our affiliates the best possible financial return on the placements they’ve given us. This is being facilitated by a partnership between referback.com and the US facing casino brand Slotastic.com.

We went into this partnership with 2 things in mind:

    1. Our affiliates must get maximum value from this deal
    2. Our affiliates need to do nothing extra to benefit

Here is what we have put in place to ensure that we meet both of those criteria:

Our affiliates must get maximum value from this deal:

    · Affiliates will now be rewarded for both their US and non-US traffic with referback.com!

    · Referback affiliates earn on the total net revenue generated by their players at Slotastic.com
Our affiliates need to do nothing extra to benefit:

    · Traffic from the USA which lands on Jackpotcity.com will automatically be notified of an exclusive “USA Players Only” offer.

    · Your Affiliate Id will carryover from the referback casino banner or text link, there is no need to apply any new tags to earn revenue from redirected visitors.

    · Player acquisition and revenue reports for all redirected players will be provided to ensure you can track your earnings!

    Mini-FAQ:

    a. Where are the reports?
    · Reports are currently being developed, timelines to follow soon.

    b. How do I get paid?
    · All payments for redirected players will be made by the 10th working day.

    c. How will the redirect work?
    · The player is not actually forced from the original site to Slotastic.com.
    · The player from any region not accepted by MGS will be served a pop-in offering them an offer exclusive to their region with the option to download or play the flash casino. These links are Slotastic.com links where USA players are welcomed with open arms.

    d. What casino will it be redirected to?
    · The partner casino is Slotastic, visit them at http://www.slotastic.com

    e. How do we trust that the third-party casino will be trustworthy?
    · The owners of brands supported by referback.com sought out a partner who had an extensive, trustworthy, history in the gaming industry and partnered with them on their new venture, Slotastic.com.
    · In addition to this Referback would not lightly entertain any partnership which would be harmful to our affiliates. You are the life blood of referback... without you we do not exist.

There will naturally be other questions which will come to mind over time, please contact either your account manager directly or drop us an email at support@referback.com and we will gladly discuss this with you further.

    Thanks elgoog!

It's currently only on Jackpot City - the other brands are still in development phase and will follow very soon.

    Will keep you updated.

I posted a couple questions at AGD and Shane was very helpful about answering them to my satisfaction.

Since I happen to be logged in here at the moment and this thread is active, I have a few other questions about this arrangement.

    1. How long has Slotastic been in business?

    2. Are they AGD certified?

    3. If not, will they apply to AGD for auditing?

    4. If AGD certification has not been considered yet, will Referback encourage them to work with AGD to get the process started as quickly as possible?

    For the members here....
Has anyone had any experience with Slotastic, either good or bad?

    Hi Terry,

    1. 6 months

    2. Not at the moment

3 and 4. Shane spoke to the Slotastic crew today and recommended that they approach AGD with regards to certification, so I'm confident that they will be certified soon.

    Thanks

    Hi Vrindavan,

The % will be according to the Slotastic commission schedule of between 25% and 35%.

    I have two questions:
    1. Is the deal with Slotastic only for JackpotCity or for all Referback sites?
    2. If the US traffic is redirected to Slotastic, do we still see the US clicks, downloads etc. in the Referback stats? I am asking this because I checked today and found there 70 US visits for this month.

    Hi Nandakishore,

    1. It started out with Jackpot City only, but is now also an exit pop-up on Gaming Club and River Belle. Lucky Nugget to follow soon.

    2. The US traffic that is being re-directed, is currently tracking in the back-end with a seperate report on Referback coming shortly.

The US visits that you see on the Referback stats are US traffic that goes directly to the Belle Rock casinos (remember that the Slotastic is merely a pop-up and doesn't direct automatically to the site). Needless to say these will only stay visits (with an ocassional download) as US players are not accepted at Belle Rock casinos.

    Thanks

    Hi Cobus,

Now I understand. I had thought that the US traffic is re-directed to Slotastic. But if a sign up occur at Slotastic through a pop-up, where will I see the result, at Slotastic or at Referback?

    Hi,

The results are currently being held in a report in the back-end. They are busy building a report which will be available on the Referback website. So pretty soon you will be able to see the results for Slotastic on a seperate report within the Referback site.

    Thanks

Bringing back this thread from a year ago, I was wondering if there has been any progress on posting reports for Slotastic? I did notice that the ad now exists on multiple Referback properties when accessing my links from the US.

Are these stats supposed to show clicks? I can't seem to find them at the Referback affiliate site. It sure would be nice to know if any US traffic has actually clicked on them.

    Thanks

I know, I'm back again!! But after looking at the report, from april 2010 to current I am only showing 1 click which I find a little hard to believe looking at the total clicks to referback properties over that time period. Are these stats functioning properly?
Can you please look into this for me? AFF78625

    Hi Meredith,

I've got your account manager to look into this for you and email you directly.

Ps: Monday is a public holiday in SA, so if you don't get a response today, it will definitely be on Tuesday

Ummmm What happened to Slotastic and why are we not told until we accidentally come across things like this:
First one is when you go to Lucky Nugget from an affiliate link in the US

    Name: luckynugget.jpg
Views: 152
Size: 22.7 KB

This one is where the Play Now link takes you to

    Name: luckynugget-2.jpg
Views: 151
Size: 21.9 KB

This same layer popup can be found at Riverbelle and Gaming Club as well

    Not happy.
