No offense, but I'm so sick of being added to groups... I think it's ridiculous that there is no option that allows you not to be added without permission..

Anyone who adds me to a group without my permission is being deleted moving forward.

I was added to a group while I was in London and the amount of emails that came through about the group actually flooded out anything important (I got about 50 emails per day from this group, all in Italian so I couldn't read it anyway), and bb facebook doesn't let you remove yourself from the group, so I couldn't fix it until I got home...

I could get all my friends/family to join but wouldn't make much point if they are not the targetted demographic

You can't as far as I am aware. You can be invited, but in the end its up to you whether you decide to join the group or not.

Renee, just decline the invitation and delete the person if they keep doing it to you because it has to come from one of your friends. You can't just invite random people afaik.

Yep you can. Basically you can create a group and add people to the group. They have no say whatsoever on whether they want to be in it or not.. And anyone within the group can post to the group and everyone in the group gets notifications of it.

It's bullshit..

The good thing is that once you leave the group, which you are forced to do rather than agree to be in it in the first place, you cannot be re-added.

Totally true, i had the same experience, you get included to groups automatically and have to leave manually.

Thats pretty bad, i should decide which groups i get added to, and no one else

Im still waiting for the group invitation Ray lol, yes it used to be the case that you had to accept the invitation but fb changed it months ago

I thought Facebook already did something about it? Like the pop-ups when your inviting too much friends so fast. Or trying to know the location of the user who is adding friends so fast by providing his phone number.
